I wonder who Gervonta will take on now though. I seriously doubt Shakur but that fight is there to be had if Bob Arum plays ball accordingly. Otherwise, Shakur will get priced out and not get a match just like he did with Haney.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, Shakur is a free agent now. So if it goes sideways, he can't blame Bob Arum. Gonna be entirely on his own Twitterson shoulders whether he prices himself out or not.

Agreed that he doesn't have to fight Tank. But he's never been the guy to go after soft touches, like most champs. (At the same time, he didnt reign long at 135.) So if he wants to scrap with outliers for money for his family's future, I don't begrudge it. But if he wants to go for the gusto one more time, Tank would be the one.

Well, you never know, maybe the scenario will change and Loma will fight this year. I agree that Loma will want this fight to get more money.
