Ok. I think Loma still has a chance to beat Tank.

Tank had no chance to beat prime Loma.

I get it. Tank ducked a lot longer.

Imo Loma isn’t so old that the fight isn’t competitive. Tank was never good enough to beat prime Loma.

Wait it isn’t 10 years. Loma beat Linares in 2018. Tank beat Gamboa for the LW title in Dec 2019.

Tank had no chance from 2019-2021/2. I think reasonable people get this. The last 2-3 years he definitely could’ve used his earning power to make the fight

Loma has faced a lot of killers in his time, he was arguably robbed for undisputed vs Haney. I don't really think he should have to run the gauntlet of Tank and Shakur when he's likely only got one maybe two fights left. Let them fight each other, winner fights Loma.

Nice try. It wasn’t just 10 years ago. It was after every single fight he had. Every single one. 19-20-21-22-23 getting the picture here?

I'll wait until he's in decline. Tank Duck Davis

He wanted the old Loma and now he's going to have to find another partner.

I just don't understand. Why would he turn down a fight with Gervonta Davis? I guess he is waiting for Stevenson and Davis to try knock each other first so he could fight the winner. However, that would never happen. Tank won't come within a hundred yards of Shakur Stevenson because he is too low reward and too high risk.

Although I believe the timing of the Vasily Lomachenko vs Gervonta Tank Davis match up is better than ever 'For both fighters. Lomachenko actually has other mega fights, that have now opened up for him since the Ryan Garcia vs Devin Haney saga and the fall out from that event'.

Note: There is a possibility, Vasily Lomachenko and his team, are waiting out to see what moves Devin Haney makes next 'If Lomachenko can beat Haney in their rematch, then that would make the fight against Gervonta Tank Davis many times more significant and a greater boxing event'.

To conclude: I don't think this is a avoidance move from Vasily Lomachenko and his team, it is potentially a tactical move 'Because Lomachenko has more than one mega fight, potentially on the waiting for him. I agree that the fight against Gervonta Tank Davis is there to make, but maybe on a personally level Vasily Lomachenko desires to fight Devin Haney again, with the ambition of avenging his loss' etc.
Man, that's a good point. I didn't even think of that. Haney doesn't have lots of good options at this point. But he also knows how outpointed he felt at their first fight. I wonder if he's up for a rematch.

We knew people this happened to already. And all of our extended family who could escape danger did. People here in the US don't get what it's like to live in an actual warzone, not drive-bys, but bombs, missles, mortars and drone strikes, and that's besides soldiers and tanks in the open.

As far as the fight, I think Loma can easily lose it. As I've said before, he wasted time vs Teo and Haney. But I think he would box circles around Tank. Tank has the power to possibly get the KO that nobody else got.

I have nothing against a person wanting to spend time with their family.

But this is an official duck.

All that talk and then when it is delivered to him, he avoids it. Lomachenko definitely ducked this smoke.

I wonder who Gervonta will take on now though. I seriously doubt Shakur but that fight is there to be had if Bob Arum plays ball accordingly. Otherwise, Shakur will get priced out and not get a match just like he did with Haney.

If you have had acquaintances who have died, sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, there are people who even make jokes in a situation like this.

if I'm not mistaken Loma moved his family to Greece, but returned after the situation stabilized. In addition to the children and wife, there are obviously other people in the family. Currently there is martial law, so he needs authorization depending on the situation.

Usyk's house was in the Bucha region (where the Bucha massacre took place). His family managed to escape and the latest information is that they are out of Ukraine.

If it is due to war, I respect Loma's decision. Anyway, if he doesn't want to fight Tank after waiting so many years, that's his right.
