I would implore anybody to watch fabios early fights. I saw fantastic potential
I haven't seen the Clarke fight but I always thought Wardley was explosive and athletic previously. He has some defensive lapses but this also made him a little more exciting (I think it was Molina who cracked him hard and buzzed him right before Drummer Boy was stopped). When I saw the screenshot for the YouTube link to the fight, I immediately thought Fabio looked a little flabby in the midsection.

His athleticism and durability kept him in there. I'm interested to see how he improves in the rematch. If he can be defensively sharper at the beginning, he'll probably KO Clarke before the championship rounds.

I think he beats Clark easy... But he needs to come in light! Even if he can KO Clark... He gassed, which had a lot to do with him not getting the KO. He just has to appreciate his strengths imo... Power is great but as Tyson Fury always says when asked about it "Any man who weighs what a big man weighs can KO his opponent." I think this is true to a degree... Bigger heavyweights have power.

Fabio's strength is how he moves for a big man... If he develops that movement he can counter punch better. If we look at the division right now so many of these guys are big and look for power shots... Yet at the top of the division is an elite boxer puncher (Usyk) and a guy who moves exceptionally well for a big man (Fury)... Joshua also does not come in fat... Even Dubois beat the stiff Croat being in shape so that when they started chucking leather at each other, he could be the last man standing, so to speak.

This is a highlight reel for him. You can see, now and then, incredible potential. You can also see him starting to gradually fall in love with his power... The Clark fight to me was a wake up call for him to not fall into this curse... this rut, where guys come in fat, figure they will get the KO and life goes on. Someone needs to really get him to use his boxing skills. Even is hand speed is much better used when he is setting his shots up instead of throwing these looping shots.

Conditioning might be the most important X-factor in the HW division. A recent example is AJ/Ruiz 2. I think Kabayel will go far because his style is taxing on his opponent's conditioning. Wardley needs to be very careful not to turn into his manager Dillian Whyte, another HW whose conditioning got out of hand.

Amen! Kabayel is a great example...
