And on top of that, Plant seems to be an antagonist when he meets other guys around his weight class. Charlo, Benevidez, and even Berlanga do not care too much for the guy. Berlanga extended a hand to shake hands and Plant acted like a douche bag.

I have enjoyed all his fights, and he never comes to lay down. I think the division is better for having him in there, even if he's kinda a gatekeeper for the elite at this point.

Plant seems like a real arrogant douchenozzle. I don't like Dirrell but standing over an unconscious old guy and making gravedigging motions was real classy. I thought he had a shot to beat Canelo outboxing him. I don't love Canelo but it was fun watching him humble Plant. Then watching him hold on for dear life against Benavidez was hilarious.

Plant needs to shave his hipster beard, learn to act respectful towards others and beat a good fighter. As is, he is a joke.

I'm starting to get the feeling that maybe Plant is the type of guy that can't go anywhere without being involved in some bullshizzle. He's that guy that everyone would tell that they were staying in on the weekend so he wouldn't invite himself and ruin a fun night out with drama .

Plant will take on no one but soft touches unless he gets a Canelo/Benavidez paycheck. Washed-up Dirrell, non-contender McCumby and he wanted to fight the depressive Charlo.
He also won his title against a gatekeeper and defended against trash opposition overall.

I differ with many others about Plant in fact without knowing him, I really like the dude because he has that swag about himself. I had never heard in all my 56 years of living of a professional fighter not sparring between fights, that's new on me never seen that before! Also being from Detroit never seen anyone say or do that from contenders in the 80's to champions who migrated there from all over, but that would explain why I see no developing just more of the same things from him. I like Breadman and the historian knowledge he brings to boxing but training elite fighters is different than speaking about them and their abilities so it will be interesting to see if he'll change some of his poor habits and add value to a pretty decent professional.
