Well actions speak louder than words. Just Judging by his actions; He is afraid of fighting David Benavidez.

Don’t leave out facts to fit your narrative clown
The only ones desperate to fit a narrative are you canelo fan girls who literally watch him do and say anything to duck benavidez yet you’re still in denial. Kind of like a female who doesn’t want to believe her man is cheating on her despite video proof. Barrera is on record stating canelo is avoiding the fight, as is Marquez, as is badou jack, as is Mike Tyson. Just accept reality ya clown.

He’s not scared but he knows that Benavides is a serious threat to whoop that ass.

Ive never said canelo is an emotionless superhero bro lol, I just think people saying hes scared of a guy like Benny is bit silly to say the least, canelo has faced way better fighters with even more complicated fighting styles and more experience, I just hope those same folks dont change their tune once they fight...cause they will

Get out of here with that bullshive McGumby , " Who are you going to believe ?
Me , or your lying eyes ? ". I used to respect Canelo , tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. I can no longer do either , and I don't care if the whole world says different , including this McGumby character. I know what I see. A DUCK.

Alvarez doesn’t need Benavidez, and he doesn’t need money. What would be Canelo’s incentive to take him on? He’s already said that Benavidez brings nothing to the table but an extra 25 lbs.

With that said, Benavidez didn’t look great against Gvozdyk. Maybe Canelo will finally agree to meet Benavidez at a higher weight and beat him there.

Why keep fighting at all then ? Apply that same logic to any competitor and Canelo might as well retire. What did Ryder bring to the table , or Mungia , or anyone else for that matter ?

When you don't want to fight a guy , the excuses are endless. When you do want the fight , nothing will stop it. Funny how that works ,isn't it ?

                  T. McCumby, your opinion is like asking Joe ***** the same question, ******. Your opinion is like ODH and E. Hearns always giving their predications on fights, they are ALWAYS wrong. So as a CHAMPION, when you get disrespected, you beat someone's as?. Bottom line, the suppose KING of boxing, knows he will get a beating. You also mentioned, Canela was not afraid of GGG, BUT he waited 3 years to fight him. McCumby, worry about your career and once you are a CHAMPION, maybe we will listen to your B/S.

                    100%.
you said elite fighters arent scared. they are. they are scared of losing. some of them face that fear and others dont. now they might not be scared of taking physical punishment but they are definitely scared of losing and getting thrown off their gravy train as well as mentally thats going to crack the narcissistic bubble in which they live. also i dont think canelo has faced someone like benavidez who was this big, ggg was maybe the most similar and canelo was scared of him for years before ggg hit 35. canelo prefers to fight boxer types who give him time, he even avoided a third ggg fight for 4 years beause the 2nd was so tough so its no surprise hes avoiding a prime benavidez who is even bigger.

canelo said he was too small to fight beterbiev...yet he fought bivol. bivol wasnt going to beat canelo down and burst his narcissistic bubble. canelo might drop a decision to bivol which he did but canelo knew he could always claim robbery(which he did at first) and canelo knew he would get away without suffering an ego crushing knockout loss. if you look at the way canelo fought ggg in the first fight. he was 100 percent scared of getting knocked out and thats why he barely engaged. getting knocked out is the worse thing for people with personality disorders because its very hard to tell yourself you are the best when you are beaten so definitely. canelo is trying to stay away from that scenario at all costs, its not that benavidez is the best fighter hes ever faced, just the most dangerous to his precious ego

Alvarez doesn’t want the smoke, any defense or excuse at this point doesn’t fly. It’s ok to say he’s up there in age and declining and it’s a bridge too far for him, but all this bullshhh about the guy not deserving the fight is bih azz dude stuff. Seriously. Man doesn’t want the smoke and that’s ok.
