If we can get Loma/Davis and Zepeda/Stevenson and Muratalla gets rid of that damn afro/birds nest off his head, Boxing will be in a good place.

I think Shakur can beat Zepeda. Zepeda is a high volume puncher. He doesn't have one punch power. He's an active fighter. It's his accumulative effect that Knocks out his opponents. He's slow. Shakur is fast and has more power than people give him credit for. Folks call him boring, but he looks good against his best competition.
And speaking of competition. This is where I give Shakur the edge. Zepeda has padded his record against lesser opponents. His 32 competitors have accumulated a total of 145 losses. Shakur Stevenson's 22 competitors have accumulated a total of 33 losses. Shakur's advantage is his level of competition. His record isn't padded.
Shakur is called a box office flop, but that's a mirage. The best won't fight him. He does better against his best competitors. Once he starts to get the better fights, his stock will rise.
I have a feeling that Zepeda will be the stepping stone that Shakur Stevenson needs.

Stevenson vs Zepeda could be one of those contrasting styles fights where Zepeda shows he belongs in the ring with Stevenson and they both have to dig deeper than ever and may turn out to be a 2-3 fight series. Boxing needs more contrasting styles rivalries and this could be it. Both could have their status elevated by a fight between them.CPNUTKnockoutFreshMart likes this.

In fact , my lawyer would be firing off a letter about how my promoter has a DUTY to further my career ,and not their own roster at my expense. The Big Dunn
