Hopefully with Turki behind the money bout, Stanionis, Norman, and Barrios will be willing to get to unifying. Anyone who believes they're the best should be focusing on unifications with other champions and then defending against the top independently ranked contenders, IMO.

Respect to all of them for having the guts to lace them up and for having the skill to become titlists, but if they want to talk about building legacy, they need to fight the best. If they just want to make money, I'd prefer that they say so. I'd have a lot more respect for certain champions if they'd just say "I'm in this for money at this point, and I'm keeping the belt(s) because they provide me with better options for money fights and a bigger cut of the purse."

Not only did they swerve Bud when he was defending, they didn't petition for their shot against Spence for months, and waited until he signed for a fight with Bud. They then waited to petition for their shot vs Bud until Spence activated the rematch clause. And Bozy literally turned down a fight offer from Bud before the unification fight. Not to mention he's turned down multiple fights from other fighters ranked in the top 10. Facts don't lie.

Let's see how Boots talks and behaves after the Crawford - Madrimov fight. Is he going to be ringside to challenge? If he does, will he walk off like Spence did after Bud stopped Porter, or will he get in the ring? You better believe that if he wants the fight, he 100% needs to show up to Riyadh. After the fight, when Bud doesn't have a fight signed, will he call for the fight, or will he wait until Bud has a new fight lined up. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt thanks to the promotional issues he purportedly had, but how he behaves come August will answer a lot of questions about whether he wants that smoke or not.
