His prime started sometime after he settled on being a pressuring stalker rather than a counterpuncher

He debuted at 15 years old, I say GGG took a lot out of him, but you noticeable see him declining his output during the Saunders bout. He was still a good fighter against Saunders, Plant and Bivol, but they were closer against Saunders and Plant than they were made out to be before the KOs, but after that second loss to Bivol you can tell that it took it's toll.

154-160 prime, 168-175 declining but good until now.

GGG overwhelmed him in spurts in the later half of the fight, Ryder landed clean uppercuts, and Munguia was landing at will until he got caught with a well timed uppercut. Even after that Canelo mostly blocked half of Jaime's shots, as his defensive reflexes are just not the same.

He always had an average gas tank and always recovered in the second half, but not so much now unless he has the right opponent.

His best weight class was 154, prime probably started when he beat Trout and then decline probably when he moved up to 168 when he was beating the EuroBums.

He's past prime. Needs a great fighter on resume like benny, then Nel o will have ticked all boxes. Beat a great fighter whilst out of prime, it don't get better than that

And which great fighter did he beat in his prime? Without controversy of course.

He was never a one punch ko artist ala Julian Jackson.

With all the fighters in that camp popping for PEDs, I suspect Prime Mexican beef may have had an impact on his prime. That being said, he's a very good fighter, very canny now. I thought the 154-160lb versions were great, and his run from Jacobs at 160 up to 175 to fight Kovalev, then back down to punch the bicep off #1 ranked Smith, and then follow that by unifying all of super middleweight was an awfully good run.
