Shakur with Floyd is a joke

Why would Floyd (or anyone) throw money away on this type of fighter. No excitement or market value. Floyd was a talented killer in the early days. People are trying to make Shakur out to be great, when in fact he is nothing more than a pure safety-first fighter. No Floyd or Pernell similarities. I think he will get exposed in this new division. ....... and he can't change.

Well Sam... If you look carefully at Floyd's career, he was very similar in appeal to Shakur until he left Arum and fought a superstar (De La Hoya/Fishnets). I am talking appeal here and not ability.

Heard the same things when Floyd left TR.

No one knows what will happen if they work together.

Shakur is literally going to always be the man who NEEDS a proper dance partner to make any bank. Nobody is going to pay to see him as though he's the A side draw due to having this exciting fighting style that everyone is dying to tune into. He's going to have to take a page out of Fraud Jr.'s playbook and turn heel. Talk a lot of trash, make sure you keep winning and eventually, when you get the proper dance partner that people hope to beat his @$$ and he wins it, that'll finally get people to continue to tune in hoping he takes an "L".

Granted, as Fraud Jr., if you stay long enough as the bad guy, it just might make you bitter and sour the rest of your life since you will be generally perceived by the public as that a$$h0le that talked a lot of **** and you'll probably get constant criticism and hate on your career that will continue long after you're done. In turn, your own mind becomes resentful and angry back at the public for thinking so negativity about you when you probably wished for their love and adoration instead.

Who knows what is Shakur up to in deciding to work with Floyd. Maybe he's thinking Floyd might be able to help him capitalize his non-fan-friendly style, draw enough haters to spend money on and see him lose. What's the point of trying to change style when it's not that easy to?

For all we know it’s Shakur’s people leaking Floyd’s name to try and stir up a deal somewhere else.

Shakur will turn on him like Tank did. Floyd is definitely going to go after him, he loves attention and drama. It has nothing to do with the business side of things because quite frankly Shakur is the least popular and marketable boxer in comparison to his peers like, Tank, Loma, Haney, Garcia, and even Teofimo. Shakur already has “Money Mayweather” attitude and arrogance without any of the accomplishments, the two of them working together would be a disaster.
