Bob Arum’s old ass should have no say about it. To hell with Keyshawn Davis. Zepeda is the WBO mando and the WBO should order that fight…unless they are just a corrupt pawn of Arum and have no shame about making that obvious to the world.
Nothing is that easy, there are layers to the conundrum. I think it's safe to say that Zepeda's team aren't beating down doors to get at Stevenson. Shakur's only chance is to take short and he just turned down 3 million per with TR. Not going to happen.

I'm tired of all the excuses from all the lightweights, let's get down and make something happen. I hope one of the sanctioning bodies gives Zepeda his long overdue Mando and forces someone to take the fight or vacate..

Lets be honesty, Shakur wants more money and nobody is willing to pay Shakur's purse to have their in-house guy take a loss. The cops on the beat (sanctioning bodies) are on the take in a game where the guy with the biggest wallet makes the rules.

It's pure capitalism, no guard rails, no rules, no limits. The new motto is "may the best man go f%^* himself because best doesn't matter".

My theory is Shakur needs to be matched right.

Zepeda is perfect for Shakur to shine imo.

If he signs a 2 fight deal with DAZN or GBP to get the Zepeda fight and doesn’t have a Valdez like performance, than he is in trouble going forward.

Were you tired of the excuses Oscar made when he turned down the Stevenson fight for Zepeda? Maybe you should knock on Oscar's door and get the latest.

You make me laugh, go read Rafael article on this, Prior to Stevenson last fights, Uncle Bobby turned down Zepeda twice, at this point GB is tired of chasing a guy who doesn't want to fight, literally and figuratively. They're looking for guys who actually might want to give Zepeda a shot at this point, not chase a guy who runs from fighters inside and outside the ring....

I think he's had enough exposure now? Shakur's a free agent, no co-promotion needed! MAN UP!!!
I thought Zepeda was ready after he beat Jojo Diaz 2 years ago but since then he's been given B class fighters to chew through.

Zepeda has had at least TWO opportunities to fight Shakur, and swerved him twice! The last one was most inexcusable because he and Oscar name dropped him, and then ghosted him! Now Shakur is a free agent! No more excuses! In no way can GBP justify choosing Berncjyk over Shakur!
