    Your Verdict On Alvarez-ggg 1 and 2

I have 7-5 Trout and a draw in the Lara fight, but how did you score Alvarez first two fights with his biggest rival ggg?

    Golovkin won the first.

I had Golovkin winning the second also but I can understand how someone could see it differently.

this is the general consensus then?

Alvarez did better in fight 2

Less people had 2 for ggg than they did 1

Golovkin won both, Canelo had just a moral victory in the 2nd since he was criticized for giving too much ground to Golovkin in the 1st fight.

I thought GGG definitely won the first. The second was a lot closer and if you gave it to Canelo, whatever. I think GGG's last great performance was probably against Canelo in their first fight. He was only to go downhill from there, yet I know some people think GGG could have at least edged out a draw in the rematch.

I don't know, I had no interest to rewatch them. I don't mind fights where both guys don't go down, but give it their all (Morales-Barrera), but for some reason, it just wasn't as satisfying watching Canelo-GGG. There was really a lack of any moment that made me jump out of my seat excited. Perhaps the lack of damage they sustained? It made it look like they weren't damaging each other? I'm not sure what it was.

Forget Disable Sanchez’s Mexican style bs

from a purely boxing perspective GGG won both fights.

                first fight was 8-4

2nd fight was 7-5. Ggg boxed behind a jab. Keep in mind he knows Canelo was juiced to the ears. He was caught doing a cycle just before their fight lmfao

                  GGG total domination fight 1
... time gap and Canelo tested positive twice for PEDs
GGG wins fight 2 (Canelo did better than first fight, obviously GGG getting older as well).
^^ As the marketing narrative all about Canelo, of course they try and justify him winning as he did better but fights aren't scored that way at all. I think the most telling fact was that something like 2 from 51 journalists had the second fight for Canelo...suffice said.

Canelo wins fight 3 - I didn't even watch it as GGG was 41 and practically retired (cash out fight for GGG).

Golovkin won the 1st fight. Could make any argument for the 2nd fight. Canelo won the third.
