I wouldn't pick the fight to even go the distance. Some crazy talk going on and I'm not sure why...

I don't think they think MJ will beat Inoue. They've been looking for a reason. Any reason to use against him.

Like the Nery knock down. All of a sudden he was exposed. Every other fights where fighter gets up from a kd to win is spectacular.

They're always looking for a way to take him down. It helps their psyche.

Considering how he only fights the best and continues to move up. They'll get their wish one day. And be like see i told y'all he was a bum. Lol

I’d give him a better chance than Doheny.

No, but I'd still like to see it. Inoue has set a high standard for himself, so I was hoping that he'd face MJ after Goodman dropped out. Inoue is must-see TV, so I'm watching either way.

No, but he should still fight him. He's the best opponent in the division he hasn't already beaten. If he's not fighting MJ he should just move up.

Doheny is the type of guy that should fight on the undercard and be a last minute replacement in case someone misses weight, fails a drug test, or has a last minute injury. He's a fringe top 10 guy at this point and his peak was 4-5 years ago. I understand that he's a credible name in Japan because he won several fights there, won his world title there, and also beat a Japanese contender on neutral ground but it's not the kind of fight a P4P guy should be taking if there are better fights within his grasp.

MJ, Casimero, Goodman (who beat Doheny) should be in line ahead of Doheny.

Doheny is a bigger name but Inoue is a proven draw. His fans will show up to see him fight anybody.

I could see it. Is it likely? No. But sometimes the underdog wins, and MJ at least has heavy hands unlike Goodman. I don't really think he's anywhere near Inoue's level, and I wouldn't pick him to win. But I think he's got a better chance than anyone left in the division. I don't place that much stock in the Tapales loss because he looked very off that night. Tapales deserved to win, but it was a close fight on MJ's worst night. He looked back to form in the next fight. That was the fight I most wanted to see at 122. I was interested in Goodman, but the crap with him turning down his shot in September really made me less interested. Might as well say he knows he's not going to win and is just turning up for a paycheck before the 0 goes away.

I'm with you in him fighting MJ, he should. I sort of feel like Ohashi was hoping to slide Doheny through quick and the mando got called waaaaaaaay more than I'd ever think MJ is getting avoided by anybody. Not a bad fight, just a solid one where business got in the way.
