He didn’t start fighting against Teo until the sixth round because of a shoulder injury and unfortunately has shown his age, injuries, and wear and tear in his last three fights. And the biggest reason is he’s a 126# fighter fighting two weight classes too high. Davis has a 85% chance of winning against this Loma (and that is reason he wants fight at this time). Both in prime and same weight Loma wins 85% of the time.
Tank rightfully will get absolutely no credit and probably more cherry pick actuations if this fight is made.

It appears you are not disagreeing with me and I am not disagreeing with you.
My point is Loma is always prepared and he will be vs Tank.

The reason Tank will get no credit is because he could have made this fight two or three years ago, why wait until now?

Usyk just became the first undisputed HW champion in 25 GD years! And he was a former undisputed CW champion! And on the "smaller" side of a man who is over seven foot tall on his tippy toes and was lineal... He doesn't even NEED to rematch Fury and he's still ahead of everyone else!

          Usyk
          Inuoe
          Crawford
          Beterbiev/ Bivol
          Bam

Tank hasn't beaten anyone and got the WBA email title. Teo, Shakur, and Devin have more accplishment than Tank.

And if Canelo beats Crawford ?Are you going to keep the same energy ?Or is Canelo correct and he'll get no credit ? Seriously, I'm asking you. Are you fair or do you have an agenda ?

Lol Tony, I'm devastated. Anybody who beats Crawford would get all the credit in the world. If Canelo knocks him out, we could attribute some of it to the weight since Crawford's never been KO'd, but if Canelo outboxes him, then it's as close to a legit win as he can get.

If they clash, Crawford would win rounds with pot shots and movement, ultimately setting up something from the southpaw stance Canelo could walk into. It wouldn't knock Canelo out, but at this stage, it'd hurt him. Canelo would train like crazy on the heavy bag to land on Crawford's temple in a slow patient fight where he gives up the early rounds to land big late. If Canelo connects Crawford gets KO'd, but if not, Crawford wins a decision. In our hearts.

Seems like some here are getting upset about the last few fights as being possible fights in determining Fighter of the Year. But I dont know if the caveats were read to list those fights.

Yes, Usyk is the leader in the house, but if he suffers a ko loss to Fury in the next fight that knocks him off that perch, right? So youd have to see who was next....Bivol v Beterbiev winner, what if the fight doesnt take place or is a draw. You cant take a winless Bivol and make him FOTY.

So that leaves the next group. But what if Tank doesnt get another big fight? I know thats a lot of what ifs, but thats the premise of the article. Its basically a decision matrix. If ‘yes’ then ‘A’, if ‘no’ then ‘B’.

I just see Usyk winning FOTY after he beats Fury again, if he doesn't I would lean towards Bam if he fights Ioka/Martinez. Loma/Tank winner is also a good option. The Bivol/Beterbiev fight IMO shouldn't be considered. Its just one fight for Beterbiev and Bivol 2nd but the first isn't worthy of him being considered. Dubois is a wild card if he can upset AJ.

I think plenty of people here understand what it means. He didn't show up for 6 rounds vs Lopez. He let his foot off the gas several times with Haney and slouched in the 12th. That's two big fights and two losses.

Maybe you haven't been involved in it, but we've done this conversation to death here. If we're going to do it again, I'll just bow out, but my statement stands.

Taylor v Serrano 2 is worth a look. I can't look past Taylor for another win, Serrano seems to be happy with paydays lately and maybe the hunger is gone. Her much publicised power seems to be 126 power and doesn't translate up to 135 or 140. Certainly not against the granite chin Katie Taylor.
