I'm admittedly very rudimentary on my knowledge of Cabrera; saw him lose a split decision to Cruz and beat a few other suspect to half-decent fighters, but I need to fill in some gaps. Does he stand a chance against an action fighter like Zepeda? Either way, Zepeda promises fun times, so I am looking forward to this.

He is like a gatekeeper, the type to test a fighter to see if the opposition belongs at the top level though he doesn't look that dynamic to look at.

-Cabrera only lost once in a quite combative bout against Isaac Cruz.

-Had dominated Gabriel Flores Jr and Rene Tellez Giron

-Is coming off a win in 2024 against tested Ricardo Quiroz (13-3) who lost by UD to Delante Johnson, Rohan Polanco and Jamaine Ortiz.

-He is a hittable fighter with a granite chin, despite that is a slippery southpaw and has pretty good timing. He also has a long reach for a lightweight. His punching power is pretty average. He is of the few fighters who can match Zepeda's work rate.

I hope they don't rob Conceicao again. It's a shame he doesn't seem to have the power to keep it out of the hands of the corrupt judges.

Looking forward to Zepeda v Cabrera the most. Secondarily interested to see how Foster fares against Conceicao. I think these opponents will be good measures of their skill levels.
