If Benavidez goes back down to 168, he has to just accept the fact that he's an undercard fighter and give up on undisputed because Canelo is taking it easy for the rest of his career.

Undisputed at 175 is literally the ONLY thing Benavidez can do to lure him into the ring.

      Well, besides $150 million.

You can see him as anything you like, the bottom line is he has been Canelo’s mandatory for a while and is much much bigger name than Edgar Berlanga, Charlo, Ryder or any Joe Schmo Canelo will elect to face.

I’ve been a Canelo guy for a long time and even I can see Canelo is ducking Benavidez.

As for the “size advantage” you allude to, it’s pretty simple - can Benavidez make 168? YES HE CAN. Period.

Canelo fought Khan, Josesito Lopez, Cotto, Charlo and even Mathew Hatton where he was the much bigger guy.
Benavidez needs to move on. If Canelo waits another 2-3 years, Benavidez won't be able to make 168 anymore and Canelo could slap him with a rehydration clause.
His next fight at 175 could literally be a title shot for 4 belts.

Or if he wants to protect his record and make undercard money, stay beltless at 168 chasing a dream.

Don't think he liked the experience fighting at 175lb right now. He won every round against Gvodzyk but I don't think he did the weight right he looked very fleshy at the weigh in. I think he can go up there eventually but I think for his next couple fights at least he should go back to 168

Benavidez can't beat Bivol or Beterbiev. There's that.

              That is a weight bully.
Bene is definitely no weight bully...168 soft asss lbs...not an ounce of muscle. Good fighter, horrible physique. 6' 1" 168 is scrawny. I weighed that at 6' 17 yrs old only playing pick up in the park.

I don't know what Bene will do, we all know Canelo couldn't beat Bivol

This is a fair analogy. At this point I also believe Benavidez is chasing a ghost and a dream.

I’ve never seen an outright duck like we’re witnessing with Canelo. He could just acknowledge that he doesn’t think he can win and we move on.
