What makes DLH an ATG? He lost all his biggest fights. Him being a box office draw is basically a myth, especially when he’s had 4 PPV’s surpass 1M, while Floyd had 4 that surpassed 2M. Credit to DLH for being a legit 6 division champ, but ain’t no such thing as ATG status when you’ve lost all your biggest fights.

manny faded and was manhandled around the ring by hornOutworked by what? Elbows? lmao
Marquez is only robbery in the eyes of casuals. Many ringside scores had it close, even Lederman had Manny winning.
Would you agree that Maidana won against Mayweather because he got outworked? Unlike Horn, Maidana actually landed some great shot against Mayweather and much more convicing but still didn't won the fight.
Oftentimes getting beat up alongside the ropes because he cant fight off them
Horn won 7 rounds max, 5 at minimum. He exposed manny inability to fight inside
Nice appeal to authority. Lederman like that means sht
casuals blindly go with the expert
Horn-manny was close unlike Marquez-manny 3. Manny and Maidana each won 4 to 5 rounds in those fights
competitive arguably close but not a draw 6 rounds and far from winning which takes 7 rounds
fights are scored on a round by round basis
losing more rounds is still a lost even as a power puncher landing some great shotsComment

I would have much rather seen manny rematch horn and avenge that lost
than that 3rd Timmeh fight
talk about pointless rematch
manny already beat Timmeh twice
fight 1 was 8-4 in manny’s favorComment

If you have Marquez winning against Pac in the third fight, i won't argue with you since it was very close, but it is far from robbery. And the fact you're still arguing Horn Won the fight tells more about your ability to score fights. I rest my case.manny faded and was manhandled around the ring by horn

Canelo, without a doubt! The Mexican has been through real wars in the ring. Pacquiao has never faced the kind of heavy punchers in higher weight classes that Canelo has. Starting from welterweight, Canelo knocked out the feared light-heavyweight champion Sergei Kovalev and fought GGG three times, who is considered the best middleweight. Pacquiao simply hasn't encountered that level of competition.Comment

I think it be an interesting how Pacquiao would fair against Alvarez at 154. The version that beat Smith, Kirkland, Cotto, Trout and debatably Lara.
He be fighting a division above Welterweight, against a heavy handed counter puncher like Marquez that has some solid defensive skills. Would Pacquiao display a dominant win over him like Mayweather did or would it be too physically difficult to handle for the athletic phenom against the well rounded bigger fighter? Cotto did surprisingly well against Canelo but was overwhelmed by the Pinoy.Last edited by Malvado; 06-29-2024, 03:24 AM.Comment

Prime Pacquaio wins against that version of Canelo. Going to be more like Margarito fight. Remember this is the same Canelo who had very close wins to the fighters you mentioned. Also struggled to someone like Matthew Hatton and Zombie version of Mosley. At 154 and below weight, Canelo stamina wasn't good either, he gassed out way too early in his fights. The 160 weight showed a better version of Canelo since he finally stopped cutting too much weight.I think it be an interesting how Pacquiao would fair against Alvarez at 154.
