to ring post , you have your best spell in the fight and then he comes out and steps it up to a level you just can’t keep up with , his fitness is on another level , he is always in range and his has this mental fortitude that will also break you…..Usyk is a monster albeit in a different way to what Mike Tyson was…..Tyson gave up when he was losing a fight usyk just presses over drive and whizzes past you

What you describe amounts to saying that Usyk is a formidable opponent, with the heart, skill and conditioning of a champion. That can be intimidating in itself, no doubt, but it's quite different from being afraid of a man who has the ability to seriously injure you or knock you unconscious in a flash. My point was that Fury did not lose the fight due a lack of self-confidence, and will not lose the rematch (if it happens), for that reason, either. He might lose again if he fails to draw the lessons from May, 18th and take corrective action. Just my opinion, anyway.

The scoring of the 12th round was very suspicious. The ref pushing Usyk away when he about to finish Fury in the 9th then messing around talking to Fury till the bell went was even more sus.
Okay, and your point is, what?

That doesn't mean it wasn't a close fight.

The "official" stats say that it was a close fight that could've gone either way.

I saw it for Fury, the judges & most people saw it for Usyk.

Close fight, and the right guy won. Looking forward to the rematch.
Question for you guys: If Usyk wins the rematch and then retires, how would you rank him all time? Top 10?

I saw Fury doing a lot of good work throughout the middle rounds and he outlanded Usyk in the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th rounds.

He was outlanded by 2 or less punches in the 2nd, 7th, & 11th rounds.

That's 8 rounds that he either has an argument for winning or could go either way.

It was a razor thin fight, like I said.

Compubox shows Usyk landing 27 more power punches than Fury and he also scored a knockdown. Usyk's punches were consistently cleaner and harder than Fury's.

the close fight isnt the problem. fury getting so trashed he can barely walk is the problem, now he has guaranteed he wont win the rematch going back on the bottle.

    Other rounds is 13-15, 13-12, & 15-13.

Those are basically all swing rounds that could go either way based on what punch landed.

A Fury uppercut that hurts Usyk can be worth more than 2 or 3 jabs or a left hook that's partially deflected or barely hurts Fury.

    Yeah, but, you're an idiot.

    So there's that.

I can’t remember what round i gave him but 4-2 Fury after 6 but Usyk 5-1 from rounds 7-12. That is what I observed.
Fury was showboating and clowning from the opening bell. He didn't lose focus, he was gassed, which is why he stopped using his long guard so much after the first four rounds. Usyk had him doing 3 minute sets of side laterals, killing his delt. THAT is why he got caught in round 9. Usyk landed that particular 1-2 combo from the first round, but Fury was too exhausted to take ANYTHING off of it by the ninth round and it hit perfectly.

I always hated it when Wladimir Klitschko pulled that dirty trick on his opponents. Boxing is about hitting and not getting hit, but I personally dislike the tactics where “not getting hit” means we get 36 minutes of two sweaty men hugging.
He tried, Usyk is deceptively strong on the inside and Fury couldn't propertly clinch and lean.
