If MBilli wins this fight and Arum doesn't put him in with a Shiskin, Morrell, Melikuziev, Plant, or Mungia, then I'm done supporting him and it would prove his management is hiding a flaw of his.

I totally agree and his management is only concentrating on the so-called magic nugget called Canelo
Very unfortunate and quite stunning to sacrifice a boxer only for that fight
Mbilli is as labelled , straight ahead fighter who depends on his accumulation and power to win fights
Defence seems to be his downfall

Mbilli is as fan friendly as a fighter can be. I don't know about his defense MulaKO because his offense is his defense. He never stops hitting you and relatively hard long enough for most guys to mount any kind of offense against him. He's like El Camarron , relentless. I haven't yet seen him in a fight where he needed to use any defense. Maybe Derevyanchenko will be able to make that happen but I doubt it.

It doesn't make sense to put him in a fight against those guys when he is rated so highly in all of the Alphabets. No way are they going to risk his ticket to the Canelo Sweepstakes. I'd love to see any of those fights but if I was advising the guy I'd steer him clear of anyone dangerous for now.

Well imo there’s two reasons for that
First like you said his only defence is his offence
Secondly has gotten fights with lower tier fighters who are stationary
Go watch the Gongora fight , which imo is his best fight to date , you’ll see what I mean

Other than Shiskin, I don't think any of those guys are Top Rank or with an "independent" promoter. I can't see Bob or his Canadian promoter ponying up money for a bigger name from another rival promotion and risk his rankings.

Shiskin maybe since he's promoted by Salita if I recall correctly. But Shiskin is all risk and no reward.

As a fan, I would love to see any of the fights you mentioned but looking through the promoter's lense I just don't see any of them happening unless mandated....

I doubt he is getting the Canelo fight so he can just sit his butt on the sidelines and get laughed at since Arum will avoid putting him in with the top guys.
