Shiskin maybe since he's promoted by Salita if I recall correctly. But Shiskin is all risk and no reward.

As a fan, I would love to see any of the fights you mentioned but looking through the promoter's lense I just don't see any of them happening unless mandated....
That's the key word, mandated.....and even then, not a sure thing.

We're going to get a clearer picture of Mbilli's actual level with this fight. I'm pretty high on him based on his aggression, power, motor, and chin (so far). I don't think he's the #1 guy in the division, but I think he'd beat everybody at 168 except Benavidez and Canelo (Morrell, no longer being at 168). But, he's raw and unproven, so I'm looking forward to this fight.

Derev has taken so much punishment the last few years - and yet he continues to step up - he should have made a load of money by now and just retire. At some point he won't be able to take the punishment anymore but I think it'll need a ref to step in and protect him. I'm thinking it'll be this fight he gets stopped. I'll be betting on Derev getting knocked down - if thats available

Mbilli is another one moving like a joke. Fighting a 38 year old MW who is not even relevant at 168. Pathetic really. Only a few real fighters looking for smoke in the sport today.

Yeah, dude has taken a ton of punishment (GGG, Jermall, Adames, Munguia). If this fight doesn't go his way he should definitely retire, for the sake of his health. Even if he does win it might not be a good idea to keep on because I see him getting a beating either way.

I don't think its the boxers per se - more the business model of the promoters. Build up a fighter as unbeaten making some small profit on his cards and then make a lot of money in a major fight. Losing to a similar level fighter upsets the business plan. To complicate matters, there is not enough demand for boxing in the USA, at least not to cover the high financial expectations of all concerned. In the UK there is more appetite for boxing so more shows can be puut on meaning that equal matchups occur more often - joyce vs dubois, eubank vs saunders, whyte vs joshua, riakporhe - billan-smith 1 - loads of prospect vs prospect and contender vs contender fights.

Secondly has gotten fights with lower tier fighters who are stationary
Go watch the Gongora fight , which imo is his best fight to date , you’ll see what I mean
                  Will do , thanks !

Really good comment. Excellent perspective on the situation. Unless they're on a certain level, fighters don't get much say in who they fight.

I've never actually seen a boxing contract - the ones where a fighter gets signed by a company like GBP or TR and paid a signing on fee - but I imagine some of the clauses would be quite revealing in terms of what fights will be made going forward, what rights the fighter has regards choice of opponent, location, notice, etc - if anyone has a copy of such a contract I'd love to see it
