Richard Torrez Jr. vs Joshua Temple (August 10th)

Not familiar with Temple; will look into him on YouTube soon, but glancing at his boxrec page, he appears to be a step backwards for Torrez. Can anyone confirm or deny as much?

I thought Torrez got way too over-eager against Brandon Moore recently. Thankfully, his father saw that as well and told him to get it in check, and Kiki listened and immediately got the stoppage. Curious if his team is making him take a step back to work on his unchecked aggression, or is Temple actually better than Moore? Probably the former.

Any thoughts? On Temple, especially?

There's not much to say on the matchup, it's a sta,, y busy or fight designed for Torres to get some rounds in, it's acceptable for Torres age and experience level.... For now.

He needs to be careful his team don't turn him into another Deontay Wilder though, he needs to move onto the tough and tricky journeymen soon who will actually give him something to think about and stop bad habits setting in. I think he's ready to move on to the Marius Wachs of the division by now tbh.
