There's something about Martin that I enjoy, especially when he's paired with someone who has pop. It's like the matador and the bull, Sandor trying to employ all of his boxing tricks to evade danger while landing his pitter patter punches (that twice dropped a reckless Teo)....

We don't know the details. Maybe his bid was lower.

I like him too! Good performances against Mikey and Teo. If he had a bit more pop, he would be quite dangerous. But always on the back foot, so... He'll come in once in a while, and commit, but not often enough. I just don't know about that match up against Haney.

I see. So Hearn was not interested. Any opinion why?

This fight is to see who is more feather fisted. These guys should be allowed to box without gloves, see if they can cuase some damage that way.

“Wow Matchroom … nasty work,” Haney (31-1, 15 KOs) said on X in reference to one of his former promoters who went silent during the purse bid. “I should’ve bid myself.”
Matchroom must have lost a lot of money on this guy. And he's acting like he's some PPV star.

It's not the promoter's job to 'love' you or even like you. It's a business arrangement first and anything else is a bonus.
