I think this will be Haney’s next fight. Credible opponent, good style matchup (ie doesn’t hit too hard).Comment

It was a great win but he can't get ahead of himself. Lets see how fights between the 4 belt holders and contenders all settle in. So many styles that are so different from each other. Time will tell who the kingpin is at 140. Haney's jab and Cruz' work rate and chin could be very difficult for him to overcome.Last edited by richardt; 06-17-2024, 09:14 AM.Comment

I knew when Matias was coming out with an artist he would lose. He looked waaaaay too comfortable and relaxed going into the ring. That said, wtf is has been going on with PR homecoming fights?
I remember when Amanda Serrano pulls out of her main event at the point of having to walk out and fight. She literally announces it there in the ring. It was so bizarre. Then Matias has his own homecoming fight and ends up losing it. Bad luck.Comment

Big props to his cornermen! Paro looked ready to quit at one point but his corner pumped him up big timeComment

Maybe they can give George Kambosos Jr a ranking at Jr Welterweight and gift him another title shot. Aussie vs Aussie in a big fight.Comment

You know the top guys ain’t gonna fight him now that he is high risk, low reward.Comment

Both coming off losses, I'd favor Matias > Haney.Comment
