Sadly, this site has gotten in it’s collective head that moving up in weight and not getting a ko but a clear win against a world class fighter like Nail is a bad thing.

The fight didn’t seem scripted at all. Clearly David’s
punches had impact, but not ko power which isn’t surprising given Nail took shots from Bieterbiev, Stevenson, and Gonzalez all with more power than David, at a higher weight.
The difference in the fights you mentioned?

Nail certainly cracked Beterbiev with his full power everytime he let any shots go and against Videz he just threw not even 100 percent arm punches

And if anyone counters that he was scared of what was coming back well he was never hurt ans was certainly not scared to throw against Beter.

Perhaps that is the age factor.

It's not even hate that fight was a farce, at least fight Pitbull, Lopez, Cattaral or Loma already. Why are you fighting former College Athletes turned boxing that you already beat up in sparring, got the timing down got the movement down. This Davis guy is acting like Pitbull does not exist anymore. This goes on for 8 years yet when it is mentioned you are called a 'hater'. ?????????

Frank Martin was never a boxer, he is a college athlete guy that turned into boxing that can make the 135lbs cut and relies on his physical.

Martin is #2 WBA, #5 TBRB. Off a 14 month layoff. You are overly critical for no reason.

Yes, He could fight Loma just like Loma could fight Shakur. Catterall and Teo are at 140. Pitbull rematch, maybe the next fight.

Did I call you a hater? No. I said the hate is poisoning you. That you just claimed this , meaning Tank not fighting exactly who you want, has gone on for 8 years proves this.

His resume could be better. Martin, Pitbull, Pedrazza, Walsh, Garcia, Barrios (140) and the aging vets everyone had on their resume- Gamboa, Cueller, Fonseca- is not as bad as you make out.

Ok. He also had beaten all the boxers he’s faced, hence his TBRB ranking. Unless you are questioning that.

I believe that too many folks posting here are criticizing Benevidez for not looking like a monster in there when much of that should be attributed to Gvozdyk. He did NOT throw heat, but he is big, imposing, and talented.

I believe that Benevidez WILL be able to **** with the bigger guys if he turns up the volume. The percentage of shots that do not land on him is amazing with that head movement and he throws with intent.

Martin is what I told you he is. stay off the corrupt rankings and come see me for the reals from now on please. I don't mind helping the new boxing "fans" understand what they are looking at in the ring

No he isn’t and TBRB isn’t corrupt. Martin is good, solid fighter. Tank is just much better.

It's because his power usually compensates by keeping his opponents off him. He had to work harder here
