  • Comments Thread For: David Benavidez Taken the Distance in Win Over Gritty Oleksandr Gvozdyk

Beneveidez better go back to 168, and stay away from Bivol. No pop, and gasses way too easy at 175. And again a fighter spewing out excuses once they look beatable.

If you've seen 1 fixed fight you have seen them all. Gvozdyk didn't even try to win this fight and this
one looked like the Conelo/Kovalev contest where the normally vicious puncher throws pitty pat
punches 90% of the fight. This fight wasn't even choreographed well. I'm no longer interested at all
in ANY NABE fights because they only appeal to the low IQ fan and is the most corrupt org in all of
boxing. Unless Turki is involved or Monster is fighting in Japan, I'm not watching boxing again. It's
just too much of a clown show now. Beterbiev will MURDER Benavidez and Bivol UD's him 120-108.
He's just not that good and looked dwarfed by the Ukrainian.

Solid win for Benavides in his debut at Light Heavy. He had to earn it a bit here but overall he dominated. I'm not going to overly criticize the man because this is his first fight at this division and im sure he will get better as he gets accustomed to the weight. Meanwhile Canelos low mentality cult like fanbase sound as IGNORANT as ALWAYS in an effort to slag off Benavides, and run cover for Canelos cowardice. Nothing new there. But some of the comments I've been reading here and on other sites are just plain level 5 hard-core, jockstrap carrying Canelo cheerleading, to the point of looking embarrassing. Have to wonder where these people come from. Definitely not serious BOXING fans.

He 'll probably get outboxed by Bivol but if that performance something to go by, he 'll definitely get stopped by Beterbiev. Its clear he will be unable to impose his size as is the case at 168.

Impressive win in his first light heavy go, but he will have to be more explosive than that

Gvozdyk looked a good bit bigger then Beni. He's going to have to put on additional size to stop good guys at light heavy, which he obvs didn't wanna do if he's going back to 168. Was surprised to see him gassing at the end
