David B-Gvozdyk Is The Best Fight Today

Obvious matchmaking for David to gain experience against the stick and move Soviet style

this fight should give us an idea of how David would do VS Bivol

biggest difference from Bivol is that like an American Gvo uses upper body head movement for defense

Bivol parries shots off with his high guard or makes them miss by inches with his feet

David has struggled with an eastern bloc fighter in the past in Gavril

    Bivol >>> Gvozdyk >> Gavril

Very good fight if Gvodyk is anything close to the level he was at back in 2016-9, in fact if it wasn't for his years of inactivity and dearth of recent quality opposition I'd make him a close favourite here.

if Bena is what I think he is

he’d be the hardest available fight for Russian Machine Gunner Bivol

Jai is big but gets hit too much. Already has had a broken jaw then a broken nose

more likely that Ben stops him than decisions him imo

question is what happens in the squared circle leading up to the stoppage

I’ve backed him at 10/1 by decision. I think Benavidez may struggle without a size advantage. Chavez Jr vs Fonfara comes to mind. Obviously Benavidez is levels above the prodigal son, but I’ve just got a feeling Gvodzyk gives him big problems.

I just don't know what Gvozdyk has in the tank. The guy we saw against Stevenson? I'd pick him to stop Benavidez. But we haven't seen Gvozdyk against good opposition since that terrifying Beterbiev beating.

I think Benavidez is going to win but I also think everyone is going to see how much of a weight bully he was at 168. No size advantage here
