The first 3 rounds all could have went either way, so it comes down to who won them. I just think people are finding any reason to give Usyk the early rounds when he never really did much, a couple of pot shots aside. Nash out

John Fury also claims to be 1-0 (1KO) against men who’ve pulled a gun on him. I saw a hilarious extract from his autobiography where he says somebody pulled out a gun on him and asked for his motorbike, he put one hand on the barrel and knocked him out with the other. - all true of course.
Imagine reading big John’s auto bio to begin with lmfao

KO win for the Invisible Man. Fury was in no state to walk home, never mind fight on. Nash out

It was a close fight and Fury put a lot of abuse on his body. I mean it is what it is. Fury basically didnt live up to his full potential. That is true of many many boxers. He had his moments for a few rounds where he looked great, he was landing combinations on Usyk like nobody else has in the last 20 years.

Now we seen him drunk again getting kicked out of a bar and this guy is a recovering alcoholic so we know how the rematch will go.

Usyk deserves his props too, a lot of these boxers blow up in weight, drink, eat bad, use drugs ect. The disciplined ones that stay in shape all year round they can do amazing things, that is why he beat a lineal champion who had a 40 pound weight advantage.

That being said, his recent stoppage loss in a street fight to the Invisible Man, in which Fury was floored and unable to continue, shows us that Fury's best days are now being him.

Don't get Nash wrong, the Invisible Man is a great and respected fighter who has beaten many, but one that surely the Fury from Wilder 2, Wlad, and Martin Rogan fights wipes the floor with.

Nash is fearing retirement from Morecambe Bay's finest. Nash out
The razor thin loss to new official/linial champion Usyk did not impact me personally. As with any loss, of course; casual fans very much gravitate towards the "what have you done lately " mentality; which, as an historian I always find to be sop****ric.

Fury's perennial nemesis, heavyweight John Barleycorn, has also suffered the occasional defeat; the first one of note being the the late, great John L. Sullivan in 1908, during his successful comeback, whereupon The Strongboy went on to marry his second wife, Katherine, a girl he knew from childhood.

Redemption is a human right to those enabled with the gift of compassion.

usyk clearly won round 1 i dont know how you can say it could have gone either way? usyk landed 3 hard body shots and a big left to the head. fury landed 2 jabs that werent especially clean and usyk took everything else on the gloves. seems to be a case of it was a slow round therefore fury wins but rounds are based on punches not tempo and usyk had the far better punches. blocked punches definitionally are not clean. when you outland your opponent by a 4 to 1 margin and you land the better punches? clear round

round 2 was also clearly usyk. he landed a huge left at the beginning that nearly sent fury down. you could even argue the ropes held him up but maybe they were just in his way so probably fair not called a knockdown. the rest of the round usyk landed 2 lefts to the body and 5 hard jabs to the body while fury landed 2 really good body shots of his own and 3 jabs. kind of close but not really since usyk landed more punches and the best punch of the round by far. when you have both those things in your favor you deserve to win it unless you are in fanboy land.

dont think fury won round 3 although it was very close. maybe even is fair.

                fury won 4-7 clearly

                usyk won 8-11 clearly

had usyk winning round 12. landed far more power shots that snapped furys head around. fury did land some good punches of his own but usyk landed more head snapping shots that sent fury flying backwards. quality of punch about even but quantity to usyk to get him the round

7 rounds to 4 with 1 even sounds fair. invisible man is far better than both though

There was nothing highly controversial about Usyk winning. Fury won maybe 4 or 5 rounds. He was competitive but didn't do enough.

We must respect that Nash Out had Fury as a very clear winner. 114-113. Nash out

Close fights in boxing are always somewhat subjective. I always felt like I got a lot more understanding of a fight watching the ebb and flow and key points, rather than scoring each blow round per round. If you understand human combat...subtlety has no place in scoring with the eye watching blows... Many great defensive fighters can look like they have been hit, without actually being hit. And some judges consider different things about punches... If one watches a fight like Cruz versus Davis, the judges had to omit body punches from the scoring to give Protected tank davis that W.

With that said, I don't know who landed more actual good punches in this fight, though I would suspect it was Usyk. I do know both men had their moments, and Usyk made a face when Fury was putting in work, that to me is equal the bashing the big bald headed baby in the diaper recieved when hit from piller to post. In other words... both men had success and overcame the success of their opponent.
