The narrative that this kid is some kind of global star is complete ****. I live in the UK and, outside of hardcore boxing fans, no one knows who he is. Fury and Joshua, on the other hand, can sell 90,000 -100,000 tickets in a stadium.
Tank might be popular in the US. However, the US does not = the world.
I wonder how he will react when the Saudis throw him in with Shakur or Matias immediately.Comment

What a typical reaction. lol the moment a “foreigner” speaks facts, our ignorant brothers here react with anger and make it a personal attack. You couldn’t make this shǐt up.
People like you believe the “World” series champions are actually world champions. Or the NBA champs are also “world” champions even though it literally says NATIONAL aka a one country sport.
Perhaps the Super Bowl winners are “world” champions too!

In terms of beating anyone from 135 to 147 from the UK, i have to do nothing but laugh. Catterall would finish the job that Hector Garcia started when he won most of the completed rounds against Davis by clearly out-boxing him. Davis is weak at centre ring or on the front foot. He likes them to come to him so he walk them into something. Catterall is a horrible style match up. Taylor would even beat him at this stage he's at in his career. So would Dalton Smith.
But Davis had the chance to fight Conor Benn after calling him out only to back away when Conor agreed. If Davis legitimately thought he could win, he'd take it. But he doesn't. I'll take that over anyone's opinion of him. It's straight out of the horses mouth.Comment

US Promotions? Which ones are we talking about? Who needed any of them to make fights in the UK or Saudi?Comment

Its impossible to be nobody in professional boxing and make the money he makes, without fans paying the promoters it doesn't happen, I don't know him so have no idea what he is like as a person to be around, but what I do know is he is an elite fighter that's can fight his ass off.Comment

Nobody cares about the interest of US fans when it comes to making the big fights. Not in the UK or Saudi Arabia. Why would they? They're not part of the buying public. None of those fights rest on whether the US is interested or not. What's going on in the US is small time. Nothing more.
