Don King, a truly evil individual, learned that you make more money playing the system than opposing it. King was so able that he was literally the last man standing in Cleveland after a gang war that destroyed at least two criminal empires. In that war? drive bys... people coming to get you... were the least of your concerns. The operative technique to make a statement was to blow your house, or car to smithereens. There has to be mass psychosis for people to endorse a method of killing that makes collaterial damage such a major factor. Most mobs would make sure they totally understood an opposing target's routines before resorting to a car bomb... a car bomb! These mfkeers? they would blow half your house down. Sorry if Grandma, or your daughter was in another room... someone walking by? Sorry...

You know we live in this world we all come into the same way, Then as we age even in our younger days, gradually we are asked to endure more unfairness, crap, because some people just have more than others... Then we learn to enjoy things, hobbies and sports maybe and lo and behold... here come the s c u m bags! Everything becomes a buck for them... And it is usually the ones that have more than enough... Like Elon the narciscist Musky. A man who fires people that do real work and have integrity, takes credit for their efforts and demands an king's ransom for doing his job the worse... Tanking Tesla quite an achievement.

So while a man in the 40's had the same people s h i t ting on him, robber barons, little safety net, he could listen to the fights, then with television, he could watch the fights! Broadcasts like Pabs Blue Ribbon hour and Gillette, brought the fights to people and life was good, and lo and behold here come the S c u m Bs again. We had the mob, we had people figuring on a way to make that buck off the sweat of the fighters.

So today? you travel by air in a torture seat... and people endure it. You pay for the privalege of pulling down broadcasts in your public space, that your taxes take care of... And here come the likes of Bob Arum... 80 something, family taken care of but its not enough! Never is with these guys...Has to rip us off, make fighters hold off on fighting the best, because he apparently needs more sheckles. Mayweather's departure should have been a bellwether to all fighters.

King? Destroyed careers like Witherspoons, put fighters into impoverishment and made them hire his criminal family for outrageous sums of money. But hey.... wasn't he cute at the Broner fight? Just a nice old man waving his flag right? These bastards and the new breed, scammers like the Paul Brothers, who made their fortune ripping off young people and the guilable, by fixing the market for certain ****** product endorsements, can never get enough. As we speak? Bill Gates is allowed to buy farm land en masse, so this btard can eventually charge us more for food? And this all happens because people do not complain, we accept things, we get less and less, spending more and more and boxing is a great example of this! The Paul brothers are correct about one important thing. Like recording artists who sought to control the rights to their work, fighters can connect to the fans directly! Get rid of these middle men that have always been destructive to boxing, a true pasttime.

I swear this... People stop complaining and we get shiat on. Boxing promoters have destroyed what was one of the few things the working guy owned... In Murica, in the Pubs in Europe... I will keep complaining thank you.
You have every reason possible to complain
We all do but most are just yes people
So what happens is so your gonna have to call a number and tell them #1 or #2
They’ll give you the permission and timing to use your own bathroom

I think that would be considered the norm and it’ll be a government run state

That is why in many ways enjoy an Anarchist state but many loved ones or even friends wouldn’t have the balls to protect themselves

      Hence the reason for decline

There are many factors... For example, people have to stop needing the threat of punishment to do the right thing... we are clearly not there yet lol. But a simple thing people can do, is call out those who the media want to proclaim as above the rest. And sports fans can protest. Football started as a club sport, back in the early 2000's I was at a dinner at Stanford sponsoring the football program. George Bush, while president attended the event... it was obvious this was big big money. What it meant was, even in a so defined educational institution of the highest calibre, the cards were controlled, the real money was in the football program.

This is reflected in the cost, sociology of football. Up through the eighties one could go to Raiders, or Niners games, with kids, feed everyone, etc... for an affordable price. Now a days? Raiders games are full of lawyers, doctors, dressing down. The cost of tickets, food, etc is way beyond what a football fan from the working class can afford. Meanwhile? took my youngest boy to the same stadium for a Monster Truck event... cost me less than a hundred bucks: tickets, t shirts for my boy and his brother, and one of the nicest meals I ever shared with my kids... I ask myself, how long will this endure? when will the shysters make these events too expensive for people?

We just want to see the best fight the best.

There should be one global organisation. Belt holders should be considered among the top contenders. pipeline of challengers towards the champ until he losses or retires. Just like UFC.

Is that too much to ask?

            I hear you
In my hometown , if I’d like two take my kids to a hockey game , for example , just tickets will just above $750
That is just to get in the bowl , let alone who wants an ice cream , hotdog and beverage
Then , as the norm is with all parents , a souvenir of what you just witnessed ( tshirt or cap Wtv )
            Middle is all but gone
            Gone up in smoke
And prices definitely won’t be going down

Why are you tagging me in your whiney rant, weirdo? I don’t give shyt about any promotor or company. I just want to see the best fights get made and the main reason that isn’t happening is because of promotors and this new era of risk management boxers who will milk their ****** fan bases with mid level fights. And these moron fans find ways to defend it. You a part of that group?

I hate them all but I acknowledge in the messed up world of boxing as it is currently constructed they won't be going anywhere.

The worst are the ones who are quick to label people as promoter fanboys…only to turn around and start praising “the Bobfather” for some showcase fight.

No poster loves any promotion. That was something idiot racists like Teetoatler and others ran with whenever another poster pushed back against the false narrative that Haymon caused HBO to get out of boxing.

Once he decided he could do business without everyone else there was this huge backlash.

When you don’t have facts to support your argument the only thing you can do is try to make the other guy look bad.

Guys like him have been extremely upset since Haymon found success after being fired by HBO. They assumed his company would die. Every other day it’s derp PBC is dead derp.

Every promoter contributes to the problems in the sport. Too bad some can’t acknowledge it.
