If you’re ranked #8 and lose by KO, you should be removed from the top 10. Not increase in rankings. Idc if it was by default. He is not the 6th best welterweght in the world.
Your first mistake is caring what The Ring has to say. Use tbrb.org, everyone who once had integrity at The Ring left to form the TBRB when Oscar decided to torpedo the publication's credibility.

Avanesyan isn't even ranked at TBRB.

It's not a good fight but it is still a late replacement. Those usually aren't good. No reason to flood the entire thread with complaints.

Wow, I don't even know where to start. A year ago I was defending Boots. Anyone that cares enough can check my post history, and I'm not saying he's all of a sudden fighting top level competition, you're putting that on me for your agenda. I'm just happy that it looks like he'll be more active now than what he has been in the past. Ave is a good last minute replacement. Would have been considered a dangerous late replacement if we didn't hold Ennis to the high standard we do.

I’ve criticized Boots matchmaking before but cmon now. It’s not his fault welterweight is so shallow right now. He’ll have big fights, have a bit more patience.Just my humble opinion.

He's only faced 1 fighter ranked in the TBRB top 10 (Villa) and only one fighter that ever won a major world title in their career at any point (Lipinets).

That's an insanely low number for someone with 32 pro fights. Naoya Inoue has 27 pro fights and he's faced 14 TBRB top 10 opponents, all 14 of whom won major world titles at some point in their careers. Crawford has faced 13 top 10 fighters and 10 world titlists in 40 fights; Usyk has faced 8 top 10 guys in 22 fights.

Instead Devin is crying about Oscar stealing money from the PPV (that they still haven't released numbers yet). Boots should be methodically moving his way up to 160 on PBC fighting the likes of Bud, Spence, Jermell and others. Damm Dazn mannnn!
Gervonta should be fighting Pitbull, they are both with PBC, instead they make a fight no one cares about.

Just like I told you guys that Virgil Ortiz will get no better fighting inferior competition on Dazn, Boots will regress fighting on that app. Josh Taylor will be next and then Eggs Benn the bumb. He should've never signed with Hearn
Good Gawd ,give it a rest Mr.Haymon .Your obsession with Eddie Hearn is getting a little creepy.

If Ennis is in the mood, I think this won't go past three rounds.

Prob best replacement we could hope for tbh. Least David will have a crack and not run. I expect he will get him outta there similar rounds to crawfish, boots needs to go to 154 and make his mark on the sport asap though. Unless you get Haney, Garcia, Teo coming up soon. Which even then I don't see them fighting boots cause he not a star.
