Great performance by Carrington. Didn't have the best opponent but he was game and a legit puncher with like 86% KO ratio. Carrington outclassed him, broke him down and stopped him. Impressive work. Definitely a boxer to add to the must-watch list.

He got knocked down early, got back up, dominated then KO'd Nery-- another strong, experienced veteran. He moved up and immediately took on Stephen "Cool Boy" Fuller, a highly skilled, tough, undefeated champion. He stopped him. So at this point, what can Shu Shu show him in the ring that he hasn't already seen and dealt with? Don't be surprised if Monster moves up in the future. Him flying to NY to see Shu Shu up close, let's you know what a serious person he is. Shu Shu spoke his name, and Monster immediately starts scouting him, spending money to fly to New York from Japan. With his boxing brain, he studied every move Shu Shu made in the ring, plus how he walks, talks, and acts. If he didn't consider Shu Shu as a future opponent, or if he wouldn't consider moving up, why would he do all that? So Shu Shu might get his wish sooner than he thinks.
Umm...Inoue flew to NY not to watch Carrington box but to accept his award from last year. Carrington just coincidentally happened to be boxing on the same weekend in the same city, nothing more.

Inoue won't have shown up if the match was next weekend. He won't have shown up if the match was in Philly or Miami or Vegas or anywhere else. He probably would've shown up even if Carrington wasn't in the card just for PR though.

Its obvious to me that Inoue didn't have to go to the fight at all, and/or sit at ringside, just because he was in town for something else. That means he chose to go there and see the kid who spoke his name up close and personal. Why you would ever doubt his willingness to be there, is beyond my understanding. Does he display some lack of courage that I'm unaware of?

You actually really think Inoue flew to New York so he can see Carrington box a no name in a non-title related match?

Would rather Shu Shu fight Cool Boy Steph @ 126! Should be as good as Knicks vs. Sixers!
