Yes! that was the way back when... Of course a fighter fought many many times, but they got better! Dereck chisora has the process down! How many times has he got good fights? Was never a great fighter, but always gave pretty good and won a few big fights long the way. These kids would do immeasurably better managing risk more aggressively, i.e. taking more risks.
Boxers[ing] is like QBs in the NFL, in that there are only a handful of truly irreplaceable ones..You can see the difference in talent, ability, and potential capabilities..I say, throw in early with dogs..even at 10 fights if he appears to be way too good for the level he[they] are fighting. Jared could be virtually unbeatable if he truly wanted to be great, he has it all. I don't care too much for chins at HW..anyone can be put to sleep
And yes, greatness is greatness and not goodness for a reason. Even with potential... sometimes it just does not work out, for a QB? it can be as simple as the difference between the college and pro game. Especially considering how stacked with talent a QB these days has to be. Football is like physical chess these days!

We are talking about the Fury’s aren't weIf the late Emanuel Steward never has Sugar Hill in his camp, that alone tells you a lot about what he thought of him. Sugar Hill, like most trainers is a yes man who allows the fighter to be the boss. His work in the corner fir Fury v Usyk was mediocre at best. There were three people in that corner who were giving Fury instructions. That alone tells you how the corner is a free for all. But Sugar Hill allowed that because he’s a yes man.
Just need to look no further than his dad to know that they believe their chit don’t stink
All thought he did a great job vs Wilder and now he’s horrible cause Fury got beat vs a great fighter ???
That’s just passing the buck imo

The Bobfather and Top Rank have not made it this far by not knowing when to pull the trigger so to say
That's what I'm thinking regarding Top Rank. I've seen them do it before with fighters. I like Anderson but he's given them enough red flags with his quotes and his out of the ring issues.
I also like Bakole, although I have a feeling Martin might pressure Anderson enough for the American to fold.Comment

I think you are right! Bakole is too massive, aggressive and a number too high for Anderson.
Big Baby needs to be very quick on his legs to avoid the attacks of this huge opponent. In my opinion Bakole By stoppage because if Anderson gets such a clean shot like from Charles Martin he will go DOWN this time and stay on the canvasComment

I 100% agree that this is the "Show em' what you've got" fight for Anderson.
I also agree that a loss of any kind to Bakole puts the brakes on his hype and his membership in the discussion of next gen heavyweights.
However; by the same token, a real good win here will put him right up there where The Ring magazine already places him.
The Ring, for decades, has been guilty of jumping the gun on prospects, as part of their ratings methodology.
But you have to slug forward as a prospect, which is exactly what Anderson has been doing against Martin and Bakole.
We shall see.
I'm rooting for Anderson. Boxing needs American fighters and fans to be a truly International sport.
All sports do. America owns almost half the world's money and more than half of the world's strength.
