  • Worse business decision: Broner turning down 40m or Wilder turning down 100m for AJ fight?

Maybe they didn't have a choice, and their management had them locked up so tight they couldn't have taken the offers if they wanted to

Both are haymon decisions...as fighters it's hard to get up once u make it to the top of the mountain after years of grinding and your advisor is blocking your money and momentum...

AJ turned down 1 X 50 million fight with Wilder.

              1 X 50 mil >>>>>>>>> 3 X 100 mil. that's 33 mil each fight.

Hearn confirmed the funds, yet still ducked.

I don't even like Wilder but the terrible posts force me to respond.

Without knowing the details of the contracts, one shouldn't really judge a fighter or his team for not agreeing to it.

Online sources indicate that Wilder is worth somewhere between $30-50 million. Similar sources state Broner is worth $10 million (which I find a bit hard to believe) but it was just a few years ago he was worth $100k.

Threads like this remind that there are a lot of lonely people in this world in need of attention.
