Floyd had no reason to fight Margarito. ****** fight to take. Then you talking about rematches, so guys he already beat. You really think that is such a murderous role of fighters?

Paul Williams is the one exception I will grant you that would have been a fight to take if a fighter wanted to continue. But again, it doesn't mean he had to take that fight or that he couldn't find another opponent.

Your best evidence is two fighters he beat and a fighter that was a career shortening fight with no benefit... Any elite boxer puncher would handle Margarito and this has been proven subsequently. Floyd was smart not to take that fight. Floyd could have easily avoided williams. He did! They never stopped him from fighting.

As a Cotto fan I felt Floyd's retirement robbed me of that fight at the time. Oh well.

With Marg, Its ok. We saw the video. No need to stress how scared Floyd was of Margarito. Styles make fights my friend. It would have been a more interesting fight than people will admit to.
