Clark isn't acting like she's being mistreated. She's not asking for people to white knight for her on the internet. She's a competitor, she knew this would happen, and she's playing through it like everybody else.
it's racism. stop the ignorant act

What ignorant act? Do you think she's the first white player in the league? Do you think she's the first white star player in the league? Do you think she's the first white star rookie player to take attention away from the established, black veterans?

She's the biggest star so far but we saw this same movie several times in the past, most recently with Ionescu.

I'm white myself. There might be a few racists in the league but the vast majority of this is simply what comes from contact team sports and rookie/vet dynamics. People who either don't follow the league, didn't follow the league until Clark got there, or are just looking to be offended about something need to educate themselves or shut their mouths. You're inventing a narrative that is not helping Clark at all.

dude if it was a white league and she was black the blacks in the good would be burning their own neighborhoods down and it would be a huge wnba is racist news story. and no I don't follow the league. ain't ever watched girls bb. don't really even watch men's. buy I do know the way of our country right now. and she should just go elsewhere and let wnba linger in obscurity like it always has without her. now if you can change my ignorant mind and show me names of black rookie women who are targeted like she seems to be , then I'll gladly YouTube them and see

I feel sorry for people like you that walk around looking for things to pretend to be oppressed by. Your racism is transparent and you can't mask it with faux concern for Clark.

I think there's a wink-and-nod conspiracy (yeah, I said the C-word) to rough her up and make her quit.
So my wish for Ms. Clark is to persevere, excel, and lead her team to a title and show those biotches what a real winner is.
We shall see. The good part for Clark is that she has that fat $28 million endorsement and can walk away from this thinly-disguised harrassment whenever she wants.

I kinda asked on the other thread as well, but if anything unlike NBA where being non-black is definitely a minority, I feel like there are a significantly more white/non-black stars in WNBA than black ones ratio wise? Atleast the ones I heard about on the news that randomly comes by on the internet seems to be many white ones.

In my super flimsy knowledge of WNBA names I've heard of in the past year on news...Sue Bird is not black, Diana Taurasi is not black, Maya Moore is black, Aja Wilson is black, Brianna Stewart isn't black, Sabrina Ionescu (not saying she is equivalent to Bird/Taurasi and such in accomplishments but in terms of similar hype out of college) is not black, and now Clark is not black.

You don't know anything. You waded into a topic you knew nothing and cared nothing about because you're perpetually on the lookout for things that you can portray as oppressive to straight white people. In doing so you only exposed your obvious lack of knowledge and your bigotry. Clark doesn't want or need the support of people like you, and being associated with your nonsense will only make her life more difficult.
