Usyk. Losses have a price at the elite level.

I don’t think Holyfield has a win as good as undefeated tyson fury.

Holyfield. Usyk couldn’t carry Holy’s spit bucket.

Holyfield was surpassed when Usyk beat Joshua the 2nd time.

It's not close at all. Holyfield lost to many lower tier guys.

Leaning Usyk TBH although it's a tough call when it comes to evaluating their HW runs. Usyk turned pro about the same age Evander made the move to heavyweight and the depth of their HW runs reflects that.

As a Cruiserweight Usyks run is clearly better, in my opinion at least, most particularly given the greater depth of the divison in the 2010 compared to the 80s when it was in it's infancy and the fact that Usyk won every title on the road.

At heavy the totality of Holyfield's wins outweighs Usyk's for me - Holy has simply beaten more good fighters due to his length of time in the divison and the higher frequency of fights in the 90s and 00s - but as pointed out above his significant number of losses also can't be ignored.

I'm not imagining that the TS is intending to include their ammy careers in the discussion but if you're discussing overall 'greatness' as a boxer I guess there's no particular reason why you wouldn't - if you do consider that of course Usyk has a significant edge there too.

I reckon it's more realistically a discussion to be had once Usyk finally hangs em up and the dust settles on his career. Always hard to judge objectively when it comes to comparing active fighters to previous greats.

FWIW If Evander had stopped fighting at the age Usyk is now his record would be 36-4-1 (vs 22-0-0) with losses to Lewis, Bowe (x2) and Moorer. At heavyweight Evander would have been 18-4-1 (vs Usyks 6-0-0)

Saying so don't make it so my friend. Unless you got a secret time machine all you're offering is an opinion. I think it'd be a hell of a fight and one I genuinely couldn't call with any degree of confidence.
