I've been a fan of Broner since the Litzau fight, and he had all the potential in the world...then tried too hard to chase $ at higher weights like Floyd did.

if he actually cared about his career, he'd have taken the Maidana beating as a learning experience, and adjusted his style to better suit 147. instead, he's fought the exact same way ever since, threw something like 35 punches a round against a faded Pacquiao on a PPV (which I regret paying for), that could've rejuvenated his career, and had the audacity to claim he won the fight.

now he's fighting on PPVs that make Holmes-Butterbean look like Fury-Usyk by comparison.

Boxing scene failed to report the bit where he threatened to murder Cobbs - all he has to do his raise his finger in a gun motion and his homies will take Cobbs out. As well as alluding to having murdered other people and gotten away with it.

The reason this fight is on PPV is because no network would pay a single dollar to broadcast it. And, although there are a lot of suckers in the world, it would be hard to imagine anyone ****** enough to pay $40 to watch this garbage.

YeahI think its true, there have been a bit too many train wrecks for the time being. 40 bucks for a really spectacular one, provided they are few and far between... maybe. But we just recently watched Haney destruct, the Gypsy King get duffed by an MMA fighter, the Stiff Croat get mauled by Duboise...

Sorry adrien, it was great watching Maidana smack you around... You looked like a traumatized dwarf as you were led out... But that satisfied the craving for a good while.

This often happens to young athletes who receive too much and too soon in their careers. Many of them live and move so fast without the proper guidance or supervision that they inevitably crash and burn.

Then they have the audacity to ask where all my friends? Well that is what happened to Adrien Broner. The life he has chosen to live have pissed them all away.
