How are you being ripped off? They are putting on excellent cards one after the other. The undercard fights are good enough that they could be main event fights themselves.

Years ago, matchups like Scott Pemberton/Omar Sheila, Stephanie Oullette/Davey Hilton and Dana Rosenblatt/Vinny Pazienza were what made me love boxing.

Regarding this fight, it's interesting because we know what Babic is. No defense, not much skill but throws bombs with mean intentions. He's there to be hit and hurt and also hurt you.

We don't know what Fisher is. He's a big, strong guy but he's looked pretty raw and pedestrian every fight I've seen him. If Fisher has any legitimate potential, he should defeat Babic (and he should probably do it fairly easily). I don't have enough faith in Fisher's skills to expect him to do that though.
      Yeah man, you get it.
I remember Pemberton and the Rosenblatt/Pazienza rivalry!

OK, I can see where my tone was a bit strident, perhaps.
Yeah, it was a good card that delivered good fights. My point really was that the fights which reaffirm why I love boxing seem to happen more often on the regional and club level where I don't have to spend two weeks' worth of my food budget just to see them.
I don't know how old you are but I've been around a long time. We used to see amazing world-class championship boxing on free broadcast TV weekly. Amazing stuff, like Larry Holmes getting off the deck to stop Shavers to keep his title. I could rattle off so many more examples.

I understand the economics are vastly different today. I absolutely don't begrudge the top fighters making tens of millions of dollars per fight, either. It's a free market and if that's what the market says they're worth, so be it. It's just not worth it for me.

I feel like so many good fights have been at the Copper Box. I think Chisora fought there quite a bit during one of his many comeback tours .. Of all the venues in the UK, my hope is to visit the UK at some point to watch a fight there.

I don't think he hits that hard, he trows big volume, so in my oppinion volume is the reason why he is winning his fight. But he has no real skills for any decent opponent.
For Fisher, this is his step up to show us who he is.
