Bam is going to have 3 of those names on his ledger. He just found a way to get it done.

That sparring session between two Latin warriors was better than all of Shakur´s fights combined.

Bam has faced three really good opponents in 19 fights. Estrada will be fight #20.

Bam vs the top 10 and/or major world titilsts (TBRB rankings used):
W vs #8 Carlos Cuadras UD 12 (for vacant WBC super flyweight title; former WBC super flyweight champion)
W vs #2 Srisaket Sor Rungvisai TKO 8 (former WBC and former lineal, TBRB, Ring, WBC super flyweight champion)
W vs #1 Sunny Edwards RTD 9 (unification; reigning IBF flyweight champion)

That's absolutely fantastic for a guy his age but come on, man. Inoue has had 27 career fights and this list below is over half of them:
        W vs #10 Ryoichi Taguchi UD 10 (future WBA/IBF/Ring 108)
W vs #1 Adrian Hernandez TKO 6 (fmr. and reigning WBC 108)
W vs #1 Omar Narvaez KO 2 (fmr. WBO 112; reigning WBO 115)
        W vs #8 Kohei Kono TKO 6 (fmr. 2X WBA 112)
W vs #5 Jamie McDonnell TKO 1 (fmr. IBF 118)
W vs #5 Juan Carlos Payano KO 1 (fmr. WBA 118)
W vs #6 Emmanuel Rodriguez KO 2 (reigning and future IBF 118)
        W vs #4 Nonito Donaire UD 12 (fmr. IBF 112; WBC/WBO 118; WBO/IBF 122; WBA 126; WBO 122; reigning WBA 118; future WBC 118)
W vs #8 Jason Moloney KO 7 (future WBO 118)
        W vs #2 Nonito Donaire TKO 2 (fmr. IBF 112; WBC/WBO 118; WBO/IBF 122; WBA 126; WBO 122; WBA 118; reigning WBC 118)
W vs #8 Paul Butler KO 11 (fmr. IBF 118; reigning WBO 118)
        W vs #1 Stephen Fulton TKO 8 (reigning WBC/WBO 122)
        W vs #2 Marlon Tapales KO 10 (reigning WBA/IBF 122)
        W vs #3 Luis Nery KO 6 (fmr. WBC 118; WBC 122)

If Bam beats Estrada, hope that at the end of the year he gets to fight Ioka considering his close bouts with Bam's older brother Joshua Franco.

Yeah, he moved up two weights and filled in on short notice.

Inoue literally sent a contract offer to unify, and got declined.

Bam Bam Rodriguez beating past their prime OLD timers, not impressive.

Cuadras was still good enough to beat Pedro Guevara last year, and Guevara just upset Jason Moloney.

Sor Rungvisai was the #2 ranked contender in the division behind champion and #1 Estrada and Chocolatito when Bam beat him.

Edwards was a reigning champion and the #1 ranked fighter in the division when Bam beat him.

Estrada is the reigning lineal, TBRB, Ring, and WBC world champion. There isn't a better win Bam could get at super flyweight right now if he's able to topple him.

Minor detail but Andrew Moloney the lesser of the Moloney twins, not Jason Moloney.

That being said I really hope Bam gets the belt so Estrada doesn't go on another two year vacation while holding it hostage. Superfly needs some unifying and it is a known fact that Estrada has zero intentions of doing unifications.

I guess not being considered the best opponent of the division and being underestimated helps. That being said Bam needs to win to get Estrada retired instead of half retired like he is now, and in terms of Inoue it still comes down to Chocolatito losing to SSR twice then going on his emotional semi-retirement as what effed up everything.

Don’t forget signing with Top Rank. Once that happened you knew he was never going to fight any of those guys.
