I'd be curious to know what kind of work he has been putting in to train for fights. It looks for all the world like he has poor leg strength and endurance. Not suggesting he try anything new at this point, I think he should retire, just curious why his legs seem so weak.

He skips leg day and doesn’t do roadwork, instead of jogging for stamina he swims. You can’t tell him nothin’!

The problem isn't that he doesn't have Breland, the problem is that it's very clear that to stay on his payroll you had to agree with whatever delusional nonsense he had in his head.

The guy isn't particularly intelligent. Yet he was the one calling all the shots, and no-one could tell him otherwise.

That's a recipe for exactly what we've seen happen. If no-one can challenge you, then you can't improve. They all had to go along with his odd excuses for losses instead of trying to figure out how he could do better.

That's also why he had Deas and Scott. No reputable trainer would put up with that. Breland want particularly credentialed as a trainer either was he?

I'm not taking about the last couple of years, I'm talking about his entire career. He had enough gifts to get him to a decent level in the sport... what if a proper trainer had got hold of him much earlier?

Truth, but age & attrition were always going to be issues.

Those wars with Fury took a lot out of him.

His die on his shield attitude costed him. He thinks going out on his shield will make him more endearing to the fans looking exhausted by the third round and fourth rounds as if he’s Rocky! I feel for the dude but he got comfortable and never developed a check hook or a proper jab because he doesn’t listen!

P.S. He needs to work his legs out!
