I don't agree with calling any boxer a bum, but he was exposed tonight and we all know he lost to Zhang. He is a trash talker that got dominated in the ring.

The headbutts weren't the difference maker the guy couldn't handle the pace and was gassed out of his mind towards the end.

I wish the doctor didn't stop it because hrgovic was beginning to take a career ending beating in there and had the doctor not stopped it, it would have been career over. The ref gave a slight bit of wiggle room for fools to claim Hrgovic was cheated or some nonsense.

You're largely right. Dubois was putting it on him and he likely would have lost anyway.

But we really dont know the extent to which the headbutts played a role in thw course the fight took. Im not gonna writr this guy off like Dubois was written off after he took a knee to save his eye and career vs Joyce.

This is heavyweight boxing where anything can happen, and Hrgovic has power. He will come back i believe

I thought he might beat Dubois because it's hard to trust Dubois mentality.

However I predicted pre fight in the fight thread that Hrgovic doesn't really have that much heart either. I saw in the Zhang fight that he feels sorry for himself under a bit of adversity. No poker face. And I've never thought his ability was much to write home about. Nowhere near what some hyped him up to be.


I always said on here that Makhmudov and Sanchez wouldn't have the minerals when they're in trouble, sometimes you can just tell. Hrgovic was another I knew wasn't that tough and we saw that's the case.


Just because you were a decent amateur and supposedly good when sparring others, it doesn't mean it translates to a real fight in the pro's.
