I know it was a heavy knockdown, but I think Wilder quit. There was no effort to get up or complaint when he was counted out. Didn't look that bothered.

Then again it was a shot from Zhang on the button, and then a totally unguarded killer shot. He still didn't look too bothered though :/

Like what do people expect in a fight between a 215lb guy vs a 282lb?

I said Wilder does not have the skills to overcome the size disadvantage. It was just too much. I found it weird that anyone thought that Wilder would get the win. As if he's going to outbox Zhang without any skills, or he's going to just KO a 282lb guy while being a Cruiserweight on fight night.
Lol you do realize Parker is lighter than Zhang to and won right? You do realize Dubois weighed 90 pounds less than Jarrell Miller and still beat his butt. Zhang is a 240 pound guy who comes in the ring out of shape. Wilder is just done.

If you watch the Parker fight he did the same thing.

It fits with his overall attitude. He can't quite understand what's happened and his unconscious response is to look for someone to blame.

I would understand if Zhang was a gatekeeping journeyman, but he's a top HW.

Wilder may still have it in him if he actually fought guys his size.
I don't think there's enough $$$ at Bridgerweight for Wilder to even consider it.

And I'm not trying to pick on the guy... I know he's sort of known for those skinny legs, but his legs looked like old man legs tonight, like bones with sharp kneecaps. I wondered how he was even training for this. Any road work? I don't know what his training regimen is, but he looks done to me.

You guys are rough lol. Did you not see his legs? He was done. It would've been irresponsible to allow him to go. He was completely dazed.

Boxing shouldn't be a fight to the death, which is what some fans seem to want.
