Never thought I'd be longing for the old days of Don King flapping his gums in the ring or in interviews - at least he had a personality and said some funny stuff (intentionally or not).

These two are an absolute bore and the whole "5 of Frank's guys versus five of Eddie's guys" self-aggrandizing promotion is downright cheesy.
I don't mind either of them. Eddie in particular tells us more than any other promotion.

But I haven't really bought into the whole 5v5 thing. They're just good fights and the fights are more important than which promotion they're from.

I don't mind the concept but I find it weird that they're promoting the event so heavily as Matchroom v Queensberry when there are fights that could carry the promotion themselves. But they're barely promoting the fights.

It's easy to say Zhang-Wilder, but I have a feeling that fight is going to be a bit of a stinker before Wilder folds from a glancing shot and push from Zhang. I feel that its really going to be a sad, even pathetic fight while it lasts. In terms of pure combat, I think Ball-Ford is going to be the most exciting match of the night.

Ammo vs Sheerez is probably my #1. I think this fight is guaranteed to be fun & exciting. I also like seeing these undefeated prospect/contender type guys fighting each other pre-belt.

Ford vs Ball is #2. Ball is never a boring watch & I think Ford is a guy with skills whos level of potential will get found out tomorrow based on how well he does or doesn't do.

#3 is Wilder vs Zhang. I could see this fight stealing the show, but I could also see either guy sh^tting the bed badly. It'd be higher if both hadn't sh^t the bed in their last fights &/or werent so far past prime.

#4, Filip vs DDD. Never big on Filip. Never very excited by DDD & he mighta hit his ceiling in his wins over Lerena & Big Baby.

#5, Spider vs Hutch. Couldn't give less fooks about this one

Bivol against Libian guy. Bivol is clearly the best boxer on this event.

Agreed it's more promo-motion then pro-match, but it's still somewhat entertaining.

Wow, great breakdown. You dissected that card top to bottom like a surgeon, no question about it. Next time I'm talking snarky shyt I will sure to avoid you and the guy with the perfect girl on the BMW.

Ford against Ball by a mile. They’re two of the top 3 Featherweights in the World along with Lopez. The winner of that fight has a legitimate claim to being the best guy in their division. The winner of Hrgovic-Dubois is maybe what? The 5th best guy? The Wilder-Zhang winner is maybe the 6th or 7th best guy. Ford-Ball is a far more meaningful fight.

The heavies will take all the attention for sure, Bivol fight will probably end up being a snooze fest.

It'll be a fun sports packed saturday afternoon with the Uefa Champions League Final as well.
