If Hrgovic thinks hes going to win through mind power...hes going to get knocked out. Dubois put his demons to rest in the Miller fight and Hrgovic better get to training those fists if he hopes to have a chance.
I don't see this as a 50/50 fight, I have Hrgovic a pretty firm favourite and Dubois an outsider.
Hrgovic held up very well to Zhangs power, Dubois best attribute is his power but he doesn't hit as hard as Zhang. Yes he does have better handspeed though.
Hrgovic is tough as nails, and Dubois aggression is going to force Hrgovic to get busy, this means exchanges and Hrgovic will get the better of those due to better toughness.
Dubois best strategy is to go against character and fight really conservative, move a lot and jab.
Hrgovic biggest flaw is he tends to fight lazy and if the fight is slow paced, maybe that happens again, maybe.
I pick Hrgovic by a stoppage of some sort between 6-8
I got Hrgovic to win in 8 rounds by KO. *But* Dubois has had tougher fights overall, could help him. Easy fights don't do much to sharpen your skills
I really hope they talk more about that one sparring session that both of them say doesn't matter
Btw what was wrong with Hrgovic in the Zhang fight? He would just walk off to the side sometimes, look down at the canvas all despondent looking and let himself get hit. He looked like he was giving up at times. Like he wanted to get finished. You have to think if Zhang had more stamina and could have kept the pressue up that Hrgovic might have quit tbh.
Someone ask Hrgovic why he never gave Zheng a rematch after the robbery.
I thought Hrgovic won by a round. Zhang was winning and then just gave it away. Looked tired and old in the later rounds and hardly did anything. Same thing would happen again.

His father passed away a few months before. So it was his first fight without him in his corner. Hrgovic was still very emotional and a little confused.
