How is Tua a waste of talent? The guy came up short against Ibeabuchi, Byrd and Lennox ALL by UD. There was no shame in losing to these guys and I’m saying this acknowledging that I thought he was going to beat them all.
Not to mention, annihilated John Ruiz in 1, the future WBA champ.

From what I recall, his rather listless performance against Lennox could be blamed to some degree on a bad rib injury he suffered in the lead up to the fight.

The Ibeabuchi fight was an absolute war with both guys just unloading bombs on each other and Byrd had a knack for frustrating many fighters with his style. I thought he'd walk through Byrd similar to Ike but that's the reason they fight the fights.

TBF, Ike didn't exactly "walk" through Byrd. Chris was frustrating him for the most part, but that wicked bolo punch turned things around.

I couldn't believe how his head didn't separate from his body, him not being a true HW and all.

This isn't wilders WBC reign where he gets to cherry pick his opponents and look like a god to casuals who have no idea he just knocked out an UN ranked bum who goes from 15 ranking to six overnight when fight is announced

You are NOT a casual Oldskoolg. I apologize for that. I did not even pay attention to your name when I said that. I’ve read many of your posts and have had many chats here with you.

I can’t speak to his lack of discipline because I didn’t know but I’ve always wondered how he never became bigger than what he was. He had serious power.

Yea, and the stanky leg he did for 10 seconds after that would give Judah a run for his money.

Dude prolly thought he was in parallel universe or something.

Absolutely insane how he managed to stand up.

Same story as usual from Wilder. Then when he's in the ring... he'll do the same thing he's
usually done... a lotta misses, not pulling the trigger, losing by a big margin or getting KOd.
His only chance is to land a home run shot.
