If Crawford wants to be as good as Usyk, he must beat Bivol, not Canelo

Bud can beat nelo. I don't think he will though. But if he wants to be great, might as well try oneday. At least he tried. What's worse is not trying.
Floyd shouldve tried best ggg at 160, or rematch Nel o at 154.Last edited by hugh grant; 05-30-2024, 06:44 AM.Comment

Crawford is probably 2 fights away from retirement. I'm guessing he'll be hinting on retirement after his next fight with Madrimov.
TC being content in fighting once a year in the last four years would be a sensible clue on what the rest of his career would be like.
To him beating the guy everyone wanted him to fight gave him the feeling of great accomplishment and don't have to do anything else, imho.
He's going after extra million dollars, nothing else, before retiring.Comment

It would not shock me if Crawford beat Canelo at 168. It would be a great win of course but to me at least, not a shocker. Crawford would have a reach advantage and slight height advantage as well. Also, I don't think Canelo has much fire left for boxing.
Bivol? No, that's not going to happen and if it did, and Crawford won, THAT would be a shocker.
It wouldn't be a shocker to me if Bud out-boxed Canelo, but if he managed to hurt or stop him it would make me uber su****ious.
Not a chance he defeats Bivol.Comment

That's not how that worksComment

While I agreed floyd should've pursue a fight with ggg, I completely disagree that he should've rematch canelo. It was a complete shutout and he was already past his prime. Only years later canelo's fans started to talk about a rematch, forgetting that Floyd's has rematched the two fighters his win was doubted, and conveniently forgetting canelo's doesn't rematch fighters in their prime.Comment
