Will never happen with Teofimo anyway after Arum's pathetic meltdown.
I think he’d be a horrible stylistic matchup for Teofimo. He struggled with Martin who has a similar style.

That’s why there’s no way in hell Teofimo/TR/Arum allow that fight to happen.

They’ve got no chance of making the fight. I’d love to fight Canelo, get my ass beat and get paid millions but it’s got 0% chance of happening. Be realistic.

The only realistic options are Matias and maybe Haney.
        Right on!

Seems like Eddie Hearn's best bet is a in-house fight with either Subriel Matias or Devin Haney. On the surface this would seem like reasonable conclusion but there is a problem....Jack is an un-belted, limited draw and a virtual unknown out side of London which means there's virtually no pay. The real question fans need to ask themselves is, WHY, why would Mattis, Haney or Teofimo want to fight an inconsequential guy for no pay in his home town? On top of that, Teofimo made it abundantly clear that he'll never fight on DAZN again, so Eddies Hearn knows full well it's never going to happen.

          So what's the deal?

I can't prove it but based upon his past, Eddie Hearn is most likely using Teofimo's name to bolster his relatively unknown140lber Jack Catteral. Eddie is chumming the water, simply setting up his London base knowing full well that he can't even deliver his own in-house belt holders so he's redirecting attention onto Teofimo Lopez.

Nice play but IMO, Eddie Hearn is a user and Jacks going absolutely nowhere but that's just my opinion.

            Matias vs Pitbull
            Teo vs Haney.

Teo will probably fail a drug test if he beats Haney. Victor Conte working with VADA and Haney will make sure that happens.

u think haney uses victor to use his influences with vada to spike teo in some way close to the fight just in case devin loses and loses his 0 as well?

Catterall and his team want Teofimo Lopez next. Good luck with that. Teo have had enough of that boring style. Catterall would just be another Jamaine Ortiz or Sandor Martin for Lopez. That running and too much disengaging style would be too much to stomach for Teo by now. You have to offer him tons of money.

Catterall has some terrible luck. He should have been Undisputed . He gets the match but it takes forever to make , he wins, but now the titles that rightfully should have all been his are in the hands of guys who I don't see him beating , not any of them. His best chance is against Cruz in my opinion. He might be smart to go ahead and beat Taylor again, the money has got to be as much or more than he'd make in any title fight, and then go looking for his title shot. Of course with his luck , Taylor will knock him out , or he'd suffer some career ending injury.

Haney still has a title , normally when a guy comes in over the weight and wins the title becomes vacant , but in this case Suliaman let Haney keep his title.

Obviously, Garcia couldn't have won the belt, but Haney made a side deal with the WBC where he could not lose it. In almost every single situation where one fighter blows weigh, then if the fight goes ahead and the champ loses, the belt becomes vacant, however this didn't occur for Haney.
