is jack the guy to take on a bogeyman? that being matias, who is currently in that category, its always great to beat a bogeyman, benny is currently in that category too i would say, thanks to canelo of course for a part in that one, promoters have to be a bit careful when asking their guy to fight a bogeyman, not all are up for that challenge, a lot of guys swerve them

Well, Haney doesn't have a title at present but I would favour Catterall. I don't think Haney can make 140 safely anymore. I would like to see 'El Gato' v either Teofimo or Isaac Cruz but, as others have pointed out, scheduling doesn't seem to make Cat v Teo easy to achieve. I don't give Jack a Catterall in hell's chance v Subriel. Subriel just will rinse him. That is a bad match-up for Catterall.

Top Rank won't put Teo in with him. He's got no name value in USA and is a tricky nights work. High risk and low reward for Teo.

If Eddie feels that strongly about getting him a title shot then he's going to have to put him in with one of his own fighters and put up the money.

Good luck getting someone to give him a voluntary shot though.

IMO, & I appreciate I could be wrong, I'd take Pitbull v Catterall any day rather than Subriel. I actually could see Jack outpointing Cruz.

I think Haney is still WBC champion. When Garcia missed weight, Haney seemed to make side deal with the WBC for it to be a non-title fight. Not sure exactly how as Eddie didn't even know about it and assumed the belt became vacant but Sulaiman has confirmed that Haney is still the champion.

                Lol..
its simple... bringing the 3rd belt to the stable...it's no brainier trading your own belts

Will never happen with Teofimo anyway after Arum's pathetic meltdown.
Matias and Haney are the only two realistic options for Hearn.

As you say, Arum isn't making a fight with Lopez unless Catterall goes to the States for short money.
