You don't have much more to go either Regis, your last two fights against Zorrila, and Haney proved that.
I don't know why you're bringing up Taylor's name, your night fighting him, and more importantly he beat you already.
Concentrate on your own career, you've been dropped in both, unofficially by Zorrilla, and officially by Haney.
So keep it moving, being pissed off because you lost to Josh Taylor, isn't doing anything for your career.

Catterall has not exactly helped his own career by waiting for JT. He probably should've been more proactive. I didn't realise he is 31, no spring chicken himself, & he hasn't done anything in 2 years except bleat about a bad decision. He needed to go on & up. Now, even if he beats JT, he is on the outside looking in as others fight for titles.

That's not all Catterall's fault, remember Taylor postponed their rematch twice. I'm sure that Catterall didn't think that Taylor would pulled out of two scheduled fight's.
For that those reason's alone I'm rooting for Catterall to not only beat, but to stop Josh Taylor, and I'm not joshing about that.

Regis should say that he and Taylor are declining. Both of their best days are behind them. Regis saying Taylor is declining is like the "pot calling the kettle black". Lol

He see's it as unfinished business, but after 2 years the rematch has lost a lot of it's anticipation with the fan's.

He was asked by a youtuber if he's still chasing Taylor when he went to the US to watch a DAZN card, don't remember which fight, probably Haney/Prograis, which took place about a year after Jack's fight with JT. He didn't seem to like the question, making him look like begging or focusing too much on one guy. So he said he's no longer chasing Taylor. Later on another interview he was asked if he would consider fighting the top players in his division like Matias, Lopez, Haney, Garcia, he didn't make a definitive answer.

That's not a good sign, Catterall is a 29 fight professional, he should be ready, willing, and eager to fight Matias, Lopez, Haney, and Garcia.
He's in the sport of boxing to become a champion in his weight division, he should've given the interviewer a resounding yes to that question.

I think Caterall's style gels well with Subriel or Pit Bull and I think any top fighter should welcome Haney because I just don't think he has a lot left at 140, he looked painful at the weigh-in v Ryan.
