I still can't believe that Fury lost that fight, when he was in rhythm against Usyk i thought it would only go on for a few more rounds, Usyk looked totally shook and couldn't deal with Fury's awkwardness & skills.

Then Fury decided to take a round off and paid the price. ******!!

Happy New Year lad! Total delusional. Showboating doesn't win you a round. Fury won at best 4 rounds, 3, 4,5 and 6 which comes down to Usyk 8 plus knock down what should have been a TKO or outright KO. If the rematch actually happens he will get properly knocked out.

That certainly contributed to his loss, but give Usyk some credit. Usyk has been the better conditioned athlete thoughout his career. Fury wastes energy moving when he should be using his size. At any point in Fury's career, he would gas against a guy like Usyk.

I give Usyk all the credit he deserves, he's an all-time great to begin with. That goes without saying.

What I meant was, Fury has been able to compete at that level thanks to his talent, but his body has been abused for such a long time that it's impossible not to get the bill at some point.

The problem, for his opponents, is that Usyk is way superior in the willpower department.

What many people still seem not to realize is Fury's abuse of his body. That, and only that is the reason behind his defeat. It's dedicated athlete vs former addict, the latter adding and/or losing weight from year to year. At one point, the body's engine has to fail.

That said I don't doubt Fury's personal issues or those rough Wilder fights took something away from him. Thing is life is always taking things from you as you progress post-peak. And you can only be who you are today.

Usyk's HW fights have seemed much more trying on his body than his CW fights did. Hes 37. No one is their best self at 37 unless they were overweight & out of shape til 36 & then got healthy at 37. Usyk ain't the best version of himself either.

So idk that if this fight took place at any point if its less close &/or that Usyk doesn't still win necessarily.

I have no real opinion or interest about Fury's camp vs Usyk, but in general I never believe camp talk. Almost never does anyone say a camp was terrible, unless its after an L. Its often "our best camp" or some sh^t like that.

For sure he did. Without question.

Still, think for a moment about Fury vs Wilder III. Fury was ready to go there, too, but Wilder was already too exhausted to finish the job. That fight contained the first evident signs of Fury's physical decline, if you ask me. Against a splendidly prepared fighter like Usyk, Fury's boxing skills alone were not enough when his tank emptied.

to beat usyk it looks like u would have to fight hard for 12 rounds & finish almost as strong as u start, hes one of those guys, or hurt him badly to slow him up, AJ has admitted hes not a 12 round fighter, whether fury had a better gas tank or not in the past is pretty irrelevant as he is what he is now and thats all u can judge the fights on
