That the Sauds think everyone has a price doesn't sit well with me.
    I fully understand and agree

I'd like to see the belts stay unified for more than 2 seconds,so yes he should defend the Ibf belt. Fury and Josh can give the Saudis their all British big money fight in the meantime.

Usyk is #1 with 4 belts or 3 belts. Fook those belt groups.

No! Fury won the first fight 7-5

Usyk doesn't have the option of fighting his IBF mando. He signed a legally binding rematch clause with Fury.

It isn't about the money for you, because you ain't getting any of the money. If you were, you'd be singing a different song.

Usyk could fight in Poland again and forego the desert Turki's money.

That would leave Princess Joshy jilted at the altar again but maybe he could grow a pair and fight Kabayel or Parker instead.
He's contracted for the rematch, if Fury wants it Usyk's options are rematch or retire unless Turki is on board.

Even assuming for some unknown reason Turki did allow it, then the obvious massive fight for Joshua would be Fury and maybe Fury wouldn't pull out like he did previously.

I mean, if Fury is going to take a different fight, then Usyk SHOULD take care of the IBF mando

pretty sure Usyk is contractually obligated to face fury if fury activates his rematch clause so the OP's question is moot because its not up to Usyk to decide

Overall no. But there are several things to consider: he has a rematch clause and if he doesn't fulfil it, this is considered some sort of chickening-out. Now if the IBF mandatory will be Dubois, in a way Usyk owes him a rematch with such a corrupt referee, but if this will be Hrgovic, then it makes sense because if he beats Hrgovic he will improve his heavyweight CV. The major thing is the money - what he will earn for the rematch is way above what he will earn if he chooses IBF - remember what he was paid for the Dubois fight. And if he wins the rematch, he can have 1-2 more fights and solidify his record if he wins. So there is a harder path with a great outcome for him and another one that is just decent.
